Fun park, and has a nice dog run area. BUT watch out for the group regulars that often have their dogs off leash near the entrance. Our puppy was attacked this morning by a small white dog from that group, and weve seen another puppy attacked by a different dog that was also off leash in that same area. Ironically, this morning a dog walker who was hanging out with that group tried to excuse the behavior, saying that the little white dog just doesnt like puppies so to watch out for it. Well, thats fine, but its the OWNERS responsibility then to KEEP THAT DOG ON A LEASH. I question that dog walkers judgement if hes excusing that kind of behavior and pretending its no big deal. When my dog is on a leash and is attacked by someone elses dog, thats NOT OKAY. Its really unfortunate that this group of people seems to think they own the place since it makes it an unwelcoming environment for others.

While we have met some really sweet dogs here, we had to stop taking our puppy here because she was attacked by other dogs twice within 3 months. The dog park space is fenced in and a good size, but it seems like theres a higher percentage of poorly socialized dogs here than at the other dog parks. Also, theres a 8-10 foot cliff fenced into the park that the dogs will sometimes jump off of, which could be dangerous. I wish the city would fence that part out of the dog area to keep them safe. Outside of the dog park, the rest of the park is great with stunning views. Recommended for that reason, but be careful with your pups!

Good view of the city from the summit (which is not very hard to get to), but you cant see Twin Peaks. There is a dog park at the base of the hill, and if you follow the trail in the back down several flights of stairs, you will reach the Randall Childrens Museum. If you keep walking down, there is an old playground with swings and a tennis court. If you keep walking, you will make it all the way to Castro Street where you can stop for lunch!

Extremely nice view of The City, and whenever it is foggy, you can see it rolling down Twin Peaks and Sutro Tower. Right now the area is dry, put the coloring scheme very much fits with the rock formation up top. Theres a designated area for your dog, if you wish to take them, large picnic area (a bit bumpy), and its is very easy to get to the top, where along the way you can see a hiking trail sign.

A San Francisco gem - the views of downtown are unbeatable and far better than Twin Peaks. Its a slight walk up.to the top, but I guess thats why it is far less busy than Twin Peaks. But its well worth the effort. You also get a great view of Sutro Tower from the top. A dog patch is also situated at the bottom and the Castro is super.close for those.looking for a tipple afterwards.

I didnt realize how close this place is to Haight/Ashbury. Its a very short, easy hike up despite the sign that says "challenging."its such a beautiful view up on top with some flat rocks to sit on. Theres a couple paths you can take to get up/down. One has this awesome, branchy tree that you can climb pretty easily. Highly recommend checking it out with someone you adore, lol.

A completely underrated and overlooked park that has amazing views! While it isnt quite as popular as Twin Peaks or Grand View, it definitely has one of the best views of San Francisco. I love the fact that it is more of a hike to get up to the top, and areas where you have to climb the rocks to see more beautiful views. Lovely sights! Well worth the walk.

Un excelente lugar para admirar la ciudad desde lo alto. Zapatos cómodos, una botella de agua y listo para tomar las mejores fotos de San Francisco desde este lado.

Be careful bringing your dogs to the park. There is a coyote in the area that has killed residents dogs recently. Other than that it is a great park. Lots of walkimg paths, tennis courts, and a basketball court. If you have children that are afraid of dogs please dont bring them here. It is a DOG park after all.

My favorite hill in San Francisco. The quarry rocks at the top are beautifully picturesque and grant a fabulous view of the city. Its never too busy. For a surprisingly challenging adventure, enter the park from behind the tennis courts on 15th street and follow the foot path up the cliff face!

Great views and trails. Awesome dog park. Admittedly the walk to get here - unless you live nearby - is a bear. Its up hill whatever way you look at it. There is parking though, so that is always an option. On a clear day you can see all the way to Mountain View and Fremont.

Sans doute lun des meilleurs point de vue pour voir la ville de SF , attention à la montée car elle est très rude .

Such a great dog park! Off leash all across the park, with a fenced in area right at the entrance. Its a bit hilly but only a short climb for beautiful vistas of the city. Its a bit dusty / gravely so wear the right shoes if you plan on heading to the peak.

A very doable climb for the whole family and a gorgeous view. I prefer it over Twin Peaks. Its perfect if youre living or simply exploring the Castro. Perfect for pup owners as -- Corona Heights has a dog park and is super close to the Duboce Dog Park.

Fritz Leiber wrote about this place in his book "Our Lady of Darkness". The rocky outcropping is windy, moody and atmospheric. Its especially creepy at night! The park itself is a lovely spot for a sunny, daytime hillside picnic!

It has what is thought to be the worlds largest slicken slide. This is a must see for "rock hounds". Rock climbers also enjoy this particular rock face for rappelling, however you are supposed to obtain a permit for this activity .

Easily accessible and a great spot for panoramic photos of downtown. Its fairly easy to get to the peak, though the trails are quite rocky so youll want some halfway decent footwear. Particularly good spot to watch the sun rise.
