No reviews, let me be the first! We walked in by chance during one of the many downtown Sacramento events. When we got there it was quiet and slow duebto thie time of day; perfect for what we were looking for at the time. We noticed a young woman behind the bar who was pleasantly conversing with the customers at the bar. We got a menu and orderd a couple glasses of wine based on the description from the menu. We were not pleased with the way they tasted, certainly not for out palettes. When she came over and asked us how we were liking our wine, we answered honestly. She asked us about our personal preferences and recommended wines vased on what we said. Wheb the new wine came out, needless to say, it was SPOT on! She nailed it! My wife and i got exactly the taste we wanted and were not charged for the first glass of wine we did not enjoy at all. Score, great service and great wine. We sat there and had a couple more glasses each of the wines that matchrd our tastes perfectly. While drinking our wine, we were shocked to find out that this younger - grungy in a good way - wine-tender was actually a Somaleaire! And she was studying for her Master Somaleaire test (goid luck with that test from what ive heard its one of the hardest tests in the world to pass - hope she passes!). She was fantastic! Super nice woth great service. This is a great and must do wine bar for us winos. Whenever were downtown we try to go but its usually closed or we dont have time, but, we loved it and try to go as often as we csn. If youre in Sacramento and want wine, go there!

I give this place two stars only because of the wine and beer selection, otherwise it would be one star. The service was awkward and the food was subpar at best. The server and owner (?) knew nothing about food or the ingredients they were serving, and they clearly opt for the cheapest ingredients possible. For the type of place theyre trying to be and the prices, it was appalling to observe Kraft BBQ sauce in the kitchen and be served pre-sliced Columbus salame on a $15 charcuterie plate. They were baffled by the question of what kind of Brie they were serving, as if it never occurred to them to know. The sandwich portions were laughable, and the turkey was Oscar Meyer quality - luckily the happy hour price made up for it. Everything here was obviously manufactured and vendor ready, nothing prepared in house. I will not be returning unless I just need a glass of wine and no food.

Très bon accueil dans ce bar à vin. Un sommelier formé en France et très au fait de son art. Vous serez reçus avec le sourire.

Awesome place for lunch! Cute little shop with cured meats, cheeses, wines, imported sweets. Their house made paninis, pastas, and pizzas are tasty. They also have a soup of the day. Plenty of street parking during the lunch, but they also have a lot in the back.

Good wine selection and beers on tap. Food is pretty good, I recommend the flat bread. Service was decent and its funny to watch the "cook" microwave the food. The flat bread was good.

Nice wine list with eclectic selection. Adventurous wines without the high dollar price tag. Last time had the flatbread which was good, this time charcurie

Nice atmosphere, decent wine selection. The place was a ghost town because of a concert across the street that night, but the service was excellent.

Terrible customer service as well as table service. Would not recommend due to the small space of the bar as well as ambiance.
