Played Oak Quarry yesterday. We were late but the staff got us out right away. The foursome on the first tee let us play through since we just a twosome. Like the new carts. The GPS is first-rate however, there is one piece of info missing, at least on our GPS, the position of other carts around you. Since much of Oak Quarry is not flat, being able to see others carts on the GPS would be helpful. Other hilly courses have that. The course was in great condition overall, with one big exception. The bunkers were horrible. Only a couple of them, and I landed in quite a few yesterday, had any loose sand in them. Most we so hard, even a hard swing would only mar the surface. My soft spikes did not disturb the sand, and I am not a light guy. I can understand the lack of attention to bunkers in some lesser courses, but not here. The bunkers need lots of tending, and more sand.

My four partners and i have play this course twice in the last eight months. Each time we have played, one in a tournament and one just to play. Both times the persons behind the counter at the pro shop showed very rough personalities and on the course we were badgered by the marshalls. We are not and have never been slow players, but the marshalls seemed that it was more important for the course to push groups along so that course could get more groups out (just my feeling). The course: fairways had new sod and were very playable. The Greens: putted around 12 on the stemp, with very suttle breaks. The greens were very hard and would not hold spinning shots even with a divot. I believe this Public course needs to be more friendly towards its Customers they are receiving money from.... Over all challenging, bring your high spinning wedges!

I played this course in late May of 2009 as part of a 4 course golf trip in Palm Springs. It was a great location cause we saved money on flying into Ontario, CA and the golf course is near the airport. The terrain is unbelievable, the online pics dont do it justice. Rocks, Cliffs, Hills, Quarry Lakes, etc... Really cool, one well never forget. Course Conditions were a 4 out of 5 but the scenery made up for it. This is a must have on your golf trip if you play near LA or even Palm Springs. -Charter Member of "Hackers Golf Association"

This golf course has won many awards and they deserve every one of them. Number 14 is perhaps the prettiest hole in the Southland, and one of the prettiest anywhere. A beautiful, downhill par 3 guarded by bunkers, a lake and one of the most gorgeous backdrops you have ever seen. Many other holes are superb, too. Customer service is always A+ and the price is great considering the amenities and quality of the golf course. This course is not to be missed if you are in the Southland. You will not be disappointed.

There are very few public courses in Orange, Riverside and San Bernardino counties that I have yet to play and this is by far the best. From the service to course conditions and layout to the views it is unbeatable, especially for the price. This course easily beats out Strawberry Farms, Tustin Ranch, Oak Creek and the other $150+ Orange County courses and at half the price! Its only drawback is it is quite a trek, but for anyone who really enjoys golf it is definitely worth the drive.

After a co-worker and friend told me about this course, I checked it out this past weekend. Price is a little much on my budget, so twilight was opted (finished playing in a little over 4 hours). Great course, unforgiving rough, friendly staff, well equipped golf cart (GPS, cooler, ball and club cleaner, etc). Due to its elevation, it could be hot, windy or cold (depending on the time of year you play). Bring extra balls. Be prepared to be thoroughly challenged and have a great time.

Amazing course with nice new GPS carts but rude staff in the pro shop who looks down on you as if your low class or dont know how to play golf. I sent a letter to the management in regard to their unprofessionalism but never got a response. I think that pretty much answers the question since it all starts with the leadership and works its way down. Sad to see such a great course with a unequally yoked staff. They would have received 5 stars otherwise.

Had the pleasure of playing this course after a friend set it up. Course is very beautiful and very well maintained. Staff was courteous and course was pretty open for a Sunday morning. Great elevation changes and challenges. Strategy off the tee is very important and can definitely save you from hitting it OB. Definitely a course I would want to play again, ideally in the Fall when it cools down a bit.

I was invited by a friend to play, he had to drag me from my office in downtown LA to play this course. But WOW! Glad I skipped work.. this was worth it! I just moved from northern cal with some incredible golf, but this was simply amazing! Pelican & Trump courses dont compare. Friendly staff & great food. Dont forget to bring the camera. The 14th hole really is the best par 3 in California. Cheers!

Incredible course. The staff is great, golf carts are high quality with GPS and built in cooler. The course is extremely well kept and offers some of the best views in the Inland Empire. I would leave caution to any beginner/intermediate players, this is an extremely difficult course and you need a decent golfers IQ to hit your way around this beast. Will definitely be coming back.

The scenery is amazing. But! The rentals are super old and beat up Strata clubs??? The merchandise was extremely low. To the point all left hand gloves were XL and larger and about 10 pairs. Be good for locals since they probably have their own gear but never bring clients or out of towners here.

Course was better than I expected. It was beautiful and in great shape. Every tee box gives you a challenging decision. Not tricked up and plays fairly. Well worth the hour and 15 minute drive. We talked about it and told more friends the whole way home. Will definitely play again.

Awesome course, can definitely tell why its so highly rated. Challenging shots from the tee boxes and the green approaches. Lots of cool views to experiance also. Food inside the clubhouse is decent. I heard the jalapeño chicken salad kicks butt!

골프채 없이 방문했는데 몇개 클럽 빌려서 driving range 연습했습니다. 약 80개 볼 8불로 좋은 경험했습니다.

Wonderful layout. Great view from most holes. Mountain course with generous landing area. Must play in East side. Greens roll true but on a slow side. Do not expect someone will help you with your bag since there is none.

Outstanding public course where it is run as a country club. Played several times and it is always in great shape. Challenging course for the average golfer. Very courteous staff.
