Played here yesterday... This place used to be good! First, the pro shop employee wasnt very friendly! Second, the driving range is horrible. The grass was destroyed. It was not even close to being flat and not being able to warm up properly just threw off the whole round for me. Thirdly, the Cowboys are taking up one hole (youd think they would say something when you call for a tee time). Finally, the soccer golf course in the middle of a golf course is a joke. For that reason alone, I would never go back. TWO stars for great greens.

Coordinated with River Ridge Catering department for an event. The Catering manager, Mrs. Belinda, is attentive to detail, accommodating and wonderful! Everyone of the staff from the owner to the office administrator and cafe employees always asked us if we needed water or assistance. The event setup was so smooth and flawless, I couldnt believe how Mrs. Belinda was calm and efficient! Very thankful to the River Ridge Catering & Event Management for making my brothers graduation party perfect!

Sure, its not Pebble Beach or Augusta -- but River Ridge Golf Club is Ventura Countys favorite, offering TWO championship courses with country club quality at public prices. RRGC is our hometown venue for gorgeous weddings, family celebrations and charity fundraisers. The staff is efficient, the service is friendly, and the prices are fair. Great golf -- and events -- for a reasonable price make this a fave in these tough economic times.

I usually try to golf this course once a month and like both courses (Lakes and Vineyard). I do have issues with the marshalls. Golfing in a foursome we usually play scramble or best ball. If the marshalls job is to keep play moving why would they ask us to play the last two holes faster? Is it their dinner time or time to go home? This is a public golf course and the marshalls should be a bit more friendly!

Outstanding course for a very reasonable price. We were visiting the area and played the Victoria Lakes course. My wife got a free birthday round. Staff was very friendly. Course is challenging without being tricked up, very few parallel fairways, good conditions, some rolling, elevation changes. Had a great time playing here!

Played there two years ago. At that time they had Marshalls that rode you like a cattle drive. It was not any fun but I liked the course. Played there twice this year they did away with the shadowing Marshall theory and the experience was very nice played at a good pace with out the cattle prongs. Going back more often now.

Awesome Everything!! Ive played at many golf courses in my life and this course all around with value and experience is in my top ten. Since it is not privately owned and owned by the city of Oxnard, the upkeep is amazing. They really look out for the golfer at this course.

Havent played normal golf here yet, but love playing foot golf here! I believe this was one of the first courses to offer it and its very fun! Great workout too - youll end up walking/running at least a couple of miles if you play 18 holes!

Course was great but a lot of blind shots that makes it a little difficult when its your first time playing there. Definitely going to try this course again with my little knowledge of the course maybe I could shoot better round.

I stayed at the Residence Inn next door and this place caught my eye when I first stayed here. Well I actually tried to hit a few balls at the range yesterday and WOW!!! The customer service was absoloutely excellent.

lousy golf range one of the worst. hitting into extra dry dirt. No level ground. hitting to an uphill or down hill lie, beat up balls hardly any dimples. Course in o.k. condition. No drinking water on course.
