Im not sure why this course has such a low rating. I recently moved from Florida, so I have played my fair share of "renowned" courses. I decided to play Tierra Rejada this past Saturday, and maybe it was the fact that its Spring, but the course was incredible. At the moment, I cant think of a course Ive enjoyed more, but I can say it is definitely in my top 3 favorite courses all time. The course is in pristine shape. Perfect fairways, and the greens, while quite fast, were perfectly consistent, and not to mention the views are absolutely beautiful. Bring some extra balls, because its quite a challenging course with serious elevation changes, blind tee shots, and tight fairways due to the mountainous terrain. Although, some of the elevated tee boxes can be rewarding with some seriously deep tee shots. Sent my friends back in Florida some pictures I took while playing and they were blown away. If you are lucky enough to live within range of TR, and havent yet played, I highly recommend setting a tee time as you will not regret it!

Course was fun, much like others described. Only complaint would be most traps had wet sand at 1 in the afternoon. The pro shop employee however was not friendly or helpful. We were a twosome with a 1:30 starting time. I checked in at 1PM and asked if we could get out earlier or if they were booked. He answered "no". So we went to the putting green and five minutes later he calls a twosome to the tee. So my playing partner goes in and asks if we can join them and we do! So if the owner or manager of the course is reading this, your pro shop employee needs some serious customer service training! When we told the guys we played with what happened they laughed and said "hes always like that".

Pretty nice course. Course is in pretty good shape. Good practice are with driving range on grass, not mats. Also have chipping green w/ practice bunker. But the course is hard! Some very narrow fairways and uphill for many holes. Also the course is REALLY hilly. Some holes youre shooting over ravines. Also i played today w/ 25-30 mph winds so that made it even harder. The slope is 126, should be closer to 130. Will play again and would recommend, as long as you can keep the ball in the fairway. Be sure to bring extra balls

I played in my friend Donnys annual birthday golf tournament today. The staff put on an incredible Chicken buffet meal for 32 of us after the tournament was a big success and very delicious. We had salad mashed potatoes mac and cheese along with the meal. The staff was very attentive and the bartenders were great. The course is very challenging and the greens were in good shape... and the girl in the beer and snack cart who drove around was a sweetheart and very nice to us

Great course with lots of challenging holes. Loved the holes where to teed off on top of hill to fairways below with beautiful views Greens were in good shape and putted pretty true. Only bad side was some of the fairways was a little dry and hard. And the sand traps that I seem to get into were hard and compact sand.

Great Course to lose balls on and challenge your game if you think youre good and if you play this well you should be a little better love the cliffs as well as the uphill drives...the GPS carts are pretty cool as well dont go out of bounds...4 players two carts 3 oclock under 40 bucks not too shabby

I golfed here about 5 years ago and then 2 weeks ago. What a difference. After my first round at Tierra Rejada, I would have said that was the best golf course Ive ever played. This time aound, the place was definitely not as well-kept. It went from a 9 to a 6, on a scale of 1 - 10.

Great value for championship golf near LA. Full length course with great views. It has some challenging holes with blind shots (experience pays off here). Pro shop and restaurant staff are nice. Can sometimes be slow on weekends but nothing out of the ordinary for LA golf.

Very fun course. Beautiful, well-maintained, and straight-forward. There are no gimmicks here, which is both a plus and a minus. We finished in 3 hours and 30 minutes, so very quick. Greens were in decent condition but not great.

tough course for people who spray their drives. make sure to buy some golf balls before heading out. You can still get tickets at the local Costco for a fairly good deal. Greens are good and fast.

Not bad, consiidering the location of the golf course. Back in the 1970s it was a motocross course. It was called Muntz park and waz one of the best motocross tracks in CA. and a blast to race on.

Excellent course! Well-maintained, great views and extremely challenging. Kind of on the pricey side, but you pay for what you get. Try their fried chicken and weekly shotgun skins tournament.

The entire course is like a hiking trail. The place is simply not suitable for a 18-hole golf course. A club house staff is also unfriendly.

Although greens are kept, fairways have been let go... Good shots on half of holes are punitive. Good luck.

Only did the range today for my Saturday workout. I like the fact you hit off grass.
