Ok, so Asian food is my favorite, and I can say I have tried all kinds of Asian food over US. Yesterday is the first time I tried Ten Asian, looked the review and picture, looks good. I ordered some sushi, pretty good. The two dishes me and my husband ordered, general tens chicken, thai pad chicken noodle or something. That general tens chicken, description is garlic spicy sauce, I thought it will be similar to General Tso chicken. But it is the sweetest dish in the whole world... I have never had more sugar in one bite, I have to drink 2 glass of water after I tried one bite.... my pad Thai noodle, sweet as well, but not so bad is because they put same amount of salt... so u cant really decide if it is too sweet or too salty... I guess we ordered the wrong dish or the chef yesterday put the wrong amount of seasoning... I guess this is a place for you just eat some sushi, and have some drinks, not a place to have real dinner. To be honest, the sushi here is nothing special either, not even close to place like Kula revolving sushi bar. So, anyway, bad experience, not mention worth the money we paid...

I went to Ten Asian a few years ago because I was traveling in the area and needed to eat. My expectations were blown away so much that I returned for lunch the next day. Ever since, whenever I am either in LA or San Diego, I make a point to reserve time just to go. When I moved to the East Coast, I was bummed I wouldnt have the chance to eat there again. Recently, I found myself in San Diego, but with a really tight calendar. I check in with the restaurant, and they were happy to accommodate my schedule. So I rented a car (yes, just to eat here) and drove an hour and a half north. What was waiting for me? A special menu at the sushi bar. Sushi Daves work was exquisite. The fish is VERY FRESH! I never needed a menu because even someone who shows up every once in a while is treated like family. At this point, Ill happily make a trip to California just to sit at Daves Bar. And YES, I do realize that there is amazing food here on the East Coast; Ive had plenty of it, but theres just something about Sushi Daves food that cant be matched!

Located on MAcArthur Blvd, opposite the Radisson, Ten serves Asian food with a full service sushi bar. It has a sophisticated seating. An outdoor fireplace, and indoor bar , and extremely indoor sushi bar and a middle lounge area for someone who wants to grab a quick meal Looking at the menu ( the qty is huge ) i decided to go in to for Gen Tens chicken with white rice. I got a plate full of chicken in hot and sour sauce, very well balanced, tender chicken and hot food in the middle of a windy, cold night. It was an orchestra in my stomach – mainly because I saw white rice after a while and garma garam khana that I don’t have to reheat . For sub 20$ i really liked the food there. No frills services, inquisitive yet allowing me my space , Regular checks and feedback. That was the first complete meal i had in 3 days ever since i left india. The place has a good vibe , nice music and the cloud mostly looked young

I have to tell you - my wife is extremely picky with her sushi and sashimi and she loves Ten Asian Bistro. We have gone back consistently 2 to 3 times per week and the crew at Ten Asian Bistro has never let us down - great fish, excellent service and the coolest dining room in OC. All the other criticism about Ten Asian Bistro is definitely not warranted. This is an excellent restaurant. We also went ahead and tried their Italian restaurant a few days ago and the pizza was fantastic, pastas were great and everything was a great value! We will be back and keep coming back!

The nightclub is beyond terrible. No seating and some strange segregated class system. The dance floor is sprayed with noxious compressed gas whilst waiters continually light flares and fireworks inside to create a terrible carbon monoxide atmosphere. On top of that, once you enter, you cannot leave (and come back) under any circumstance without repaying the cover. If erotic-asphyxiation is your thing, this is your place...

I came in for dinner a couple Fridays ago and I was seated at the sushi bar with Sushi Dave, even though he told me to call him "Douchey Dave." He made the best sashimi platter I have ever had! The staff was awesome. The manager, AJ, really took care of me and my friends during our meal. The other manager, Keoni walked us into the nightclub after. The vibe in the restaurant was super cool. Trendy, hip and modern.

Small cozy asian Bistro with terrific flavors! Loved anything we tried , they are very good at sauces and flavors its really hard to go wrong. food was fresh and tender with a kick of spicy! Salmon Spring roll was delicious with the wasabi hint sauce! Honestly we all finished our plates to the last bite! Its totally worth the wait enjoooy!!

All the food that we ordered are really delicious compare to any chinese restaurant. This is our second times coming here. I love the classic chow mein., soft shelled crabs and most of all the edamame. The servers are all friendly. I highly recommend this place. Julie is our server and she is very kind n friendly.

The decor is modern and trendy. The outdoor space with open flame is great for the chilly night. I had the Thai cucumber salad, bit too simple for $7. On the other hand, the Scottish Salmon with grilled Brussels sprouts is very nice. Salmon was perfectly seasoned and grilled. Tender and moist with crispy skin.

Brutal!....use to go there almost every Monday with clients, good sushi for the value. All of a sudden the place was shut down for a breif period just to find out they reopened and did away with the All u can eat sushi. WRONG economy to cut back...the ownership needs to wake up! It was only 1 day a week!

The place is somewhat overpriced for a ghetto club. The security is not very good here. I saw two different fights break out. Usually has way too many guys not enough girls. If you are looking for a classy place and still have a good time in Costa Mesa, I would recommend Sutra Lounge on Harbor Blvd.

great sushi, i recommend going on thursday nights because there is a club part of the restaurant and they play house music! Good vibe, the crowd is 21-40s. When you eat at the restaurant you get in free to the club...if not, there is a cover charge, thats the only negative.

A friend and I went to lunch and we were BOTH double charged. We attempted to contact the restaurant 4 times. Every time were told that the manager would call us back. NEVER received a return call, finally had to dispute it on my credit card. Check your card!!

Ten Asian Bistro is THE premiere Asian fusion restaurant in Newport Beach with the best Sushi in town! The service is excellent and the staff is very friendly. I take clients here always and they always walk away with a great experience.
