Its free for military personnel. Loved the museum. Been here a few times already and on my recent trip to Long Beach, CA, came here twice. They have a little bit of everything here. On my recent visit, they had the Rembrandt special exhibit. Pretty popular packed with many many visitors. But their permanent exhibits include the American wing, European wing, Egypt and Asian exhibits. From art, to Victorian furniture, sculptures and modern art can be found all over here. Its a must visit if youre visiting Long Beach. Just take the Green line to the Arts Museum station.

Very nice little museum. Parking is abundant and free, and the staff was very friendly and helpful, and happily gave us a verbal tour of what to expect from the exhibitions. The art had quite a lot of variety and there was plenty to enjoy. The atmosphere was very quiet but open and welcoming, and even the security personnel were open and friendly. Unfortunately, we werent able to see the sculpture garden, but we were given free tickets to come back at a later time when itd be open (we were advised to call in first to make sure). Awesome! A wonderful experience overall.

MOLAA is a museum dedicated to Latin American Art in Southern California. It is relatively a midsize museum, impeccably clean, well curated, air conditioned and good exhibits. Parking lot is huge. Admission price is relatively affordable; Sundays are free!! Staff are friendly and competent. Museum store is small and souvenirs are tad pricey. Overall, a good museum that every family or individual should visit and enjoy Hispanic Cultural Art.

It was nice but not very entertaining for small children. My toddler was holding my hand and definitely not running around or touching absolutely anything at all and the security guard came and rudely told us that my child had to step further away from the art (we were two feet away already) and then he basically followed us through the rest of the exhibit making me feel very uncomfortable until I left.

Great little museum. I got to see the Frida Kahlo photographs by Nickolas Muray, which ends September 3rd. Learned about their relationship and love affair. Also some other great exhibits available. Does not take long to walk through it. Hope it keeps expanding and inspires as well as brings awareness to great Latin American Art.

Came here for the first time for the 20th Anniversary gala. Gorgeous space. Love the exhibits. They had complementary valet (not sure if that is always the case or just for that evening). They have a beautiful outdoor venue space that is great for dinner and dancing (for those who are interested in hosting an event there).

I love this little museum. Before attending an exhibition, I drove by it 100s of times. I finally attended an event here with my Alumni Association and decided to buy a membership. The docent was very knowledgable and patient with our large group. The giftshop was also very quaint and the gifts were reasonably priced.

Such a lovely museum! I had never been before. Went to see 2 specific temporary exhibitions that were very well curated. Reasonable entry fee. Helpful staff. My only complaint is some of the art descriptions were oddly placed; requiring 1 to bend to the floor to read.

This Museum holds all sort of events that involves the Latino culture. The art is amazing, though the exhibits are rather small. The shop has a great collection of merchandise and they do a really go job of bringing the community together in their events.

I had a wonderful experience here. The tour guide was nice and very passionate about the art. The assortment of pieces there was enjoyable. The temperature inside was nice too. I came on a Sunday (its free on Sundays), and parking was no problem at all.

Cool community events, with intelligent and creative contemporary art that is thoughtfully curated. The name is broader than the scope of the museum, in my experience: it seemed to be focused primarily on Mexico and Mexican Americans.

Very, very cool museum depicting the much unspoken condition of Latin Americans in America. Top notch art on its own, but the meaning makes it on a level of its own. Good for if you want to leave thinking.

Awesome local venue featuring all kinds of different artists work. Fridays are still free i believe to go in and wander around and have a look. More people in long beach should expose themselves to art.

Stunning architecture filled with the treasures created by artists of Latin and Latin American descent. Free admission on Sundays but worth the cost of admission every other day of the week.

A great place with beautiful artworks. Gift shop is a bit pricey. I really like this poster for a painting, but its 25 bucks. Its not that expensive but still a little bit too much for me.

Used to be a roller derby, then a film production company, now MOLAA. Although small, it has great architecture, great use of space, great customer service, and fun events.

Love to see places like this. You only get this kind of heavy focus of latinos in big cities- Cali, South Florida, parts of new york and parts of texas
