Art Theatre remodeling and upgrade to original Art Deco style was great works few years ago. Giving 2nd life to a center of art activities at 4th street Long Beach. Now, shining among other art entities in Long Beach and serving the community. Going to watch a film and experiencing true joy of going to your local movie house. Great service, discount to students and seniors, providing space for local art performance and showing the most valuable work of cinema s highly recommended.

Beautifully restored theatre that shows great films and documentaries. Best of all, its located in the heart of Long Beachs Retro Row, an awesome neighborhood packed full of vintage clothing, furniture and record shops. The Art Theatre also has a terrific wine bar and yummy falafel shop in front of it, and there are great restaurants and bars featuring live music nearby, so go check out a movie at the Art Theatre of Long Beach tonight. You wont be sorry!!

Kind of place you hope never dies as have too many old single-screen theaters. Frequently, they show some obscure films or wide distribution. THE "Rocky Horror" spot. Cool family vibe with great 1-for-ten rewards program. Comfortable place with wine bars and restaurants steps away. Im a regular.

I just moved to long beach and decided to try this place out. Very organized and clean, ticket prices are cheap in comparison to big brand theaters. Also there is NO parking (I walked it there) so you need to find some on the street. Set up inside is very large surprisingly

The Art theater in Long Beach is a great place to check out a film with other movie lovers. I went to a screening of Night of the Living Dead around Halloween with a theater of people dressed up as Zombies and it was really cool.

I Loved This Theatre. From the smell of fresh poped corn as I walked through the front doors, to the royal blue curtains that lift and drop over its large movie screen. It has the fabulous ambience of times past.

I went here to see the movies Rango, and Heels. Every movie I have seen there has been great. They also have a free film fest type thing every year and do a live Rocky Horror Picture Show every week.

Very cute old theater, great staff and service. But the seats arent comfortable to a watch a whole feature film. The LGBTQ Film Festival is nice to attend as well.
