We sat front row during one of the two bands performing people came up and blocked our view. Even though they told people not to! A girl even jumped on stage for a breif time and scared the band. Then they let it continue. Before the second band we complained we were told they could move us back a few rows, no thanks you would devalue my ticket. They also dont know when to stop serving drunks. A great example was during a song two drunks started fighting in front of us it took 10 minutes for the staff to respond and get control. I posted a pic of what front row looks like when they let people in front of front row ticket holders. Other front row ticket holders got fed up and left. They need to figure out to let a few people up front it wouldnt be so bad but everyone came down and was stepping on us to get close to the stage. I felt bad for the elderly couple that couldnt see what they paid for.

Last night we attended a performance of Miss Saigon. What a value in theater-going! The cast was superb, the newly staged version smooth and effective, and the theater a gem. This is not a huge venue, so all the seats are good. Prices are reasonable, and this production, at least, was totally professional: Lights, orchestra, direction, staging, costumes. Im planning on attending again, since the prices for equity productions in LA and at OCPAC are out of sight. Special kudos to Chris, The Engineer, Kim, Ellen and John in the cast. We also were fortunate to be there on Wednesday, so we were treated to a question-and-answer "meet the cast" event after the show. I highly recommend La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts.

This theater is such a gem. Tucked away so seamlessly in a shopping center parking lot, yet still bringing Los Angeles quality performances. The inside is spacious, well decorated, and clean. This location does offer a full bar as well a two very large and luxurious bathrooms. The staff is very friendly and there is no real dress code so you never have to feel over/underdressed to go. The only downside to the theater is the parking - it gets really congested leaving the parking lot (but parking is free so thats a plus) If youre up for a good time check out the theater performances online.

This theater will surprise you if you havent been. Be theater itself is very inviting. The lobby has plenty of comfortable seating,a fireplace and a bar upstairs and downstairs. The shows Ive attended have been on part with productions at Segerstrom and The Panteges. They offer a variety of shows throughout the year ranging from a show like Sod the Science Kid to Les Mis. If youre concerned about the quality of performances yiu will not be disappointed. If youre a La Mirada resident you get a great deal on season tickets.

This venue is big enough host top notch talent and small enough provide intimate viewing. The decor has a craftsman/art deco feel, with a fireplace in the waiting area and seating in groups of three or four. It feels like you are attending a show with many close friends! The show we saw was "Lend Me A Tenor" with great singers and spot on comedic timing. The acoustics were superb. They are showing West Side Story soon and Im sure it will be wonderful.

I just saw west side story. The stage looked great and the performances were awesome but the poor sound quality was a distraction and I almost left at intermission. This was my first time there so I dont know if this was an off-night or other technical problems.i hope they fix it soon. I appreciated free parking but getting out of there was a challenge so I just chilled out in my car. I had a decent experience.

It was my first time here and I saw The Hunchback of Notre Dam and I was very impressed. The lobby is kept so clean and the bartenders are very fast and keep the line moving quickly during intermission. You can even order your drinks before the show starts to have them ready for you during intermission. The actors did an amazing job, and the set was beautiful. Great first time experience. I shall be returning.

Sister MARIPAT rOLLS the Dice was slower moving than the others in the series. However, her comments on Thursday, Nov 13 regarding Obama and Clinton were in appropriate and espoused a sentiment that should not have been a part of the play. It was a mix political audience and some were offended. She owes her audience and the management an apology.

Been to every theater out there LOVE this place! Very cozy and every seat is a great seat. Great prices on tix for amazing shows. LOVE IT!!! Their ticket policy is horrendous. They made us buy a ticket for our 5 month old son, despite the box office telling us he didnt need one at the time of purchase. They were rude and had no sympathy. They even had the gall to tell us that Disneys The Little Mermaid was not an appropriate show for children. Well never go back.

we went there at night for the peanuts movie. the prices were unbeatable at $3 per person. the screen, movie quality and sound was good. the seats werent comfortable but for 3 dollars i didnt mind. this place was a lot better than the other cheap movie theaters i have been too. would go again.

Went to see West Side Story. It was one of the best performances Ive seen at a community theater. Allow a little extra time for parking. They do not have a dedicated lot and it can take a little while to find a spot. The seats are comfortable and the volunteer ushers are delightful.

Great venue. Smaller and well maintained. Very reasonably priced tickets especially considering the high quality of the shows. Weve enjoyed every single show weve attended. The staff is very accommodating if we need to change show nights or seat location.

Excellent community theater (very large for a local theater) that features local productions and sometimes touring productions of some of the most acclaimed and popular shows. I always enjoy my experience here, no matter the quality of the production.

Great venue to catch a play or live music. Highly recommended. Good parking, very friendly staff. Have visited many times. Bar serving liquor, wine and beer. Snacks. Great local venue.
