We went to see Snow White and it was a complete disappointment, the music was to loud you took away from a beautiful fair tail with music that was completely out of character what was the point! I want to say the last few shows Ive been to see at the Laguna Playhouse have been completely disappointing. There was a time that the shows were really good what has changed? We walked out at half time and I have to say I absolutely waisted my money. on the show. It will be a long time before I will ever purchase another ticket for The Laguna Play house a theater I have enjoyed for many years.

The Adventures of Tom Sawyer was a very enjoyable performance however we were only able to hear about half of the script due to soft voices and acoustic issues. My husband and I both felt that microphones would have helped immensely. The costumes were exceptional as was the acting, stage props and directing. We enjoyed the performance but were sorry to have missed so much content and meaning due to sound issues.

While in Laguna Beach for a wedding we found this place while doing a google search. We decided to go to their play, 30 Steps (an Alfred Hitchcock comedy-thriller). It was absolutely AMAZING. Completely well done. The acting and production was absolutely amazing. The theater is a little dated, but completely comfortable. Would definitely recommend for a night out. :)

I saw my favorite band, Rockapella, at this venue. The ushers were attentive, the box office folks were friendly, and they sell refreshments during intermission, which you can enjoy outside on their nice patio or bring it into the house as long as the drink is covered. I hope Rockapella returns to this venue! The band members seemed to enjoy being there.

A Laguna Beach cultural gem, the Playhouse books the best entertaining shows circulating the theater circuit and manages to put on new productions that charm, delight and sometimes take your breath away. Everyone visiting should catch a show, and everyone living in the area should get season tickets. Its that good!

Older theater but great presentation of Hairspray. It was so entertaining. Everyone in the cast was talented. Im glad we included it in our So. Calif. visit. We will check it out again when in the area.

Intimate theater setting that is walking distance from downtown Laguna Beach restaurants and desert spots. They offer light beverages and snacks at intermission. Not really a bad seat in the house.
