Let me start off by saying that I did not just decide to review this Winery off a whim. In fact I thought about this experience for 3 whole days and decided to share. In fact my company is an advertising partner with the Wine Passport Days they are part of which even made me more disappointed. Friends and myself decided that we would make our last stop on the passport day at this location. For those of you not familiar with what I am referring to, the Santa Cruz Mtn Wine Growers association has passport days when you can buy for $45 a booklet and visit a slew of great wineries during their tasting hours and enjoy a tasting on the house. We drove through a thicket of traffic all the way from Santa Cruz and arrived at 510PM, their hours were 10am-5pm. I expected for the location to be closed and really just hoped it might understand due to being on HWY 92 and always being congested with traffic, but we knew the possibilities. We arrived and there were a ton of people around in the bocci area, people out front at a distance, and people still being poured wine from a glance right before we were to walk in. Instead an employee pushed past us, walked behind us and without looking at us told the air and the trees "no more new pourings would be accepted", they then walked past us again and as I looked inside was greeted by dirty looks from those behind the counter still pouring as i stood 3-4 feet from the door. Did I expect them to be closed, yes, did I expect to be told that yes. Did I expect them to refuse to address me face to face, and instead treat me not like a human and physically ignore me to make some point to nobody else around, NO!!! Wow, total lack of caring for patrons. I would have been 100% OK with somebody saying "so sorry we are closed, can I offer alternative times" but to be breezed by and not actually even greeted to have some employee just shout to an empty lot instead of just telling me to my face and then receive additional poor treatment? OK, that is when I share what your selling! So for those interested in visiting Half Moon Bay and to my fellow passport users and SC Mtn Wine fans, I suggest fervently to not visit a place where they treat guests with such disregard for common courtesy, manners, and guest service. La Nebbia, you earned yourself a negative experience advocate!

The outdoor space was really lovely. Its a nice flower garden with picnic tables, not fancy, but pretty. Indoor is small, we didnt spend much time there. You can bring your dog which is nice. If they have water bowls they did not offer. The woman serving wine was polite, but not particularly friendly. The food available is pre-packaged which isnt indicated on the site. Not that that is bad, but I wish it was clear youre just grabbing from a fridge in the store. The reason we wont be returning though, is the wine. Honestly, most of it wasnt very pleasant. It ranged from decent/drinkable zin to a cab that we couldnt take more than a sip of (honestly I think these was something wrong with it. It wasnt that we disliked the notes; it was straight up gross like it had gone bad, which makes me wary of their products.), to disgustingly sweet. The orange dessert wine was like cough syrup. I know dessert wines are sweet, but this wasnt a good sweet. I would prefer to drink Delsym.

Ive rediscovered this wonderful little place. It has one of the best Pinot Noir I have tasted in a long time. Its other wines are also worth tasting. The quint, friendly atmosphere adds warmth to the culinary experience. The prices are more than reasonable, and you get to taste 5 wines for $10 - quite a deal IMHO. Besides they frequently "lose count" of how many wines you have tasted, and they frequently give you nice wine glass for memorys sake. They have a simple, clean, picnic area behind the wine tasking room, and a glass blower next door. Ill definitely go there again if the opportunity presents itself.

Came for their bottle and cork day. You bring clean empty wine bottles and theyll fill em, cork em, and label em for $5 a piece. They, of course, allow you to taste the wine you are going to fill your bottles with to ensure you like it. While it isnt the best wine Id ever had, for $5 a bottle it is worth the price. I havent been to their tasting room so I cant comment on their wines, but I was impressed with the efficiency of the bottle and cork day.

We were visiting from the Midwest and discovered this little gem of a winery by accident - on bottling day. It was great fun! I brought back a case of wine. The people were friendly and helpful. Wish we could have stayed longer. We just dont find wines like this in the Midwest. We will definitely be back on our next trip.

Awesome deal for wine tasting ($8 for 13 different wines). Dessert wines are pretty sweet there. Not a lot of parking. Every couple months they host a "filling party" where you can bring your own bottles and get it filled with cheap wine. Wine isnt bad.

This is a jewel in the heart of Half Moon Bay. Great wine and excellent service. I love red wines, but they have a Black Moscat that is a must. I had to get several bottles to take home and share with my friends.

Our company rented this venue for our summer BBQ. Its an absolutely lovely venue with picnic tables and place to play bocce ball. Warm and friendly staff. Located right next to a pumpkin patch.

Even if the customer service wasnt as awful as it was, the wine certainly was! The wine we purchased was completely bad, as in moldy tasting. Yuck! Dont waste your time here folks.
