The problem with this place is from the management, most of the people in the pro shop need to take a class in civility. They dont honor what they advertise and do a bait and switch with their Tee Times. The course marshalls are a joke, very unhelpful and unprofessional, they will interrupt you in midswing to announce the course is now closed, pick your ball up and get off the golf course and get your car out of the parking lot were locking the gate. And then the cart people whining about why were you on the course so long along with sneering and mummling, and theres still 30 minutes of light left. You get the feeling that theyre there to do you a favor. If liked to feel dogged when youre playing golf this place is for you if not I would recommend any of the other nearby courses, El Dorado, Skylinks, Rec Park etc... They are run by American Golf and all of their employees treat you with respect and are very courteous, not like the disrespectful employees of the Navy Golf Course. Im waiting for the day when American Golf takes this place over and runs it right not like the people that are running a great facility into the ground.

Ive been playing here since 1993 and it now definitely offers the biggest bang for the buck. Lots of changes and a heavy emphasis on course quality. Greens typically run at about 8.5-9.5 and they are true with minimum bounce. Depending on the weather, this can play as one of the toughest, but fairest, courses in Southern California! The twilight prices are great and even the regular prices are hard to beat. If you can play between 11am and 1pm on weekdays, pretty easy to get a tee time. Try it and you will really like it!

Great course. Good greens. Played a round in 4 1/2 hours. New carts with better navigation keeps people on pace. Hopefully club house is using it to move the game along... Overall, a good value for the quality of the course!

Can only give it three stars because play was so slow that we only got 9 holes in before we had appointments. The holes were nice and challenging on the destroyer course but as mentioned very very slow play.

Course was,in great condition Pro shop service was fast and efficient. Cafe service was marginal at best. Starbucks Coffee is the worst. Food delivered to the table was cold. Rating 10 proshop. 4 cafe

The cruiser 9 hole course is great for those still learning the game but looking for a course with some longer holes that you can use a driver on. The roughs can be pretty rough a times.

The Cruiser is a nice way to practice your game without having to play just a par 3, the course is kept up nicely and most of the time the course moves well.

Great place...upscale dining area. Has a pro shop, usually not crowded. I think that people think that you have to be in the Navy to use this place.

Played the Cruiser Course, good condition. Everyone I met, staff and other players, all very friendly. Will definitely play there again.

There executive 9 hole Cruise Course is great for practice with some challange. Its great as a practice course.
