I grew up just up the street from Minnie Palmer on Boulder Ridge Terrace in the late 60s and 70s. We would regularly go to her house and help her pick fruit and have snacks in her house. She would always wear a bonnet on her head when she went outside (like the ones they wore on Little House on the Prairie TV show). I was young then but remember her as a kind and wonderful person.

Its a very neat trip into our history. This little house is so neat, and amazingly cool in the heat of the summer. My husband and I were married in the rose garden here, everyone we worked with to set up our wedding site were very helpful, and very friendly. Thank you for preserving this moment in time.
