Went tasting at several wineries with friends and we all really enjoyed the hospitality from the owners at St. Jorge. They seemed to have worked out the bugs from some of the earlier comments. Each tasting was paired with food. Personally, I dont like to eat when tasting because it can hide flaws in the wine, but in this case, the cheese and bread pairings were fantastic. Wines were pretty good, too. They focused the food and wine pairing on Portugal which fit the owners heritage. I especially liked the Albarino.

My husband and I visited St. Jorge...what a beautiful winery. The owner is an absolutely fabulous host. The wine is great! They pair the wine with food and explain how they make their wines. My favorite is a winner - Sobremesa..a dessert wine that is so smooth and enjoyable that we bought several for gifts..Amazing...truly a must see if your visiting! Beautiful atmosphere as well..
