Reviews, family and friends told me of this great place to meet and have a good time. Share the lost times and bring back memories of the past. My wife and I planned a trip to Phoenix, Arizonas "Nifty Fifties Night Club" to surprise a family member for her birthday. This birthday girl was a former bar tender at this very club once and friends of the family work there now at the time of our visit. My review leaves a very bad taste for anyone that thinks this club is all that it is cracked up to be. Settled in one of the worst parts of Phoenix, AZ; we regretfully entered this club, to be greeted by the entire staff of three people, giving good reason for the saying "family owned" literally. The security staff allowing a non-paying customer to enter the entire club to come up to several of my family members as well as others to solicit his entry fee; of which this person claimed to be a "Navy Seal." When exiting the club to get a breath of fresh air, security allowed this very person to threaten several paying customers in the parking lot. When law enforcement were summoned they never came, giving a hint to the validity of this club. A VERY BAD SIGN. Reentering the club and gathering up my family and friends, we left the club and the area for a much more respectable club to spend our money. Drinks at this club were not made right at all. We asked for sweet drinks and got lemon tasting drinks. The waitress took literally an hour and thirteen minutes to get two drinks to us. The club was later labeled after a phone call to the local law enforcement in Phoenix, AZ; who stated that they had a an undercover law enforcement official in this club and that person has been there for quite some time. A want to be security guard that was witnessed drinking by myself flashed a badge and was told to put it away and leave the area of which he was "Publicly Intoxicated and Posing as a Law Enforcement Official." All of which Security allowed the first NON PAYING customer back into the club as we were leaving. Amazing! Sounds like an inside deal if you ask me. The owner was summoned and she refused to do anything about this incident, however we will in this case. Not only will we (the family, friends and colleagues) ever return to this club, but a call to the state board or Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms was placed as well as the state health and safety board. My end result is to have this club closed with no ability to obtain a club or alcohol license ever again. Dont take my word for it. Go see for yourself. Unclean, Run-Down, Unsafe, Amateur in nature, Unprofessional, (need i say more)! A comment was made for those to get off their fat lazy butt. Well I did, need I say I am far from lazy as I am an accomplished internationally published author, highly decorated veteran, and have been around the world some 32 times now. Could this place have been better that night. Sure. But not likely. Those of you that post great comments of this club, well that is your comment as you know these people and you sway to their beat. I am subjective and sway to no ones beat but reality. On a good note. Clean up the riff raff with the good music you played and get staff that want to work and can work along with real emphasis on running a club over running a drug/prostitution ring (HINT) and this club might get somewhere. Oh and you might get the undercover law enforcement out of the club as well. BUSTED!

This place sucks! It smelled like mold and old piss from the bathrooms. Its finally closed and shut down. It was on 55th ave camelback. If it ever opens up again I hope the owners look for a better place.
