I stayed at the Arizona Grand Resort from Wednesday, June 14, 2012- Tuesday June 19, 2012. Overall, our stay was very enjoyable, but it had its downsides. When we arrived, we were assigned a room that was as far away from the water park as one could get. We found out out that in order to get closer to the Oasis Water Park, we had to pay $25 extra per night. This scam is called a bait and switch. They gave us one price, then they tacked on an extra $25 a night to be closer to the park. After we got assigned the new room, we were greeted by a very friendly and helpful bellman. He helped us unload our car(we drove by car) and take everything up to our room. When we looked out of our french doors leading to the balcony and noticed that there was trash (i.e cigarette butts, dirty napkins etc.) and bird scat that hadnt been attended to for a very long time. Other than that, our room was perfectly clean and equipped with a mini-bar, in which every mother we talked to wished was not in the room. Families need a fridge, not a bar. Every family also wished that a microwave was in the room too. The room had one queen-sized bed and a fold out couch bed which were both very comfortable. The room had a bedroom and a living room, each equipped with a TV. The TVs in both rooms were very small. The TV in the bedroom was a joke because it was only a little bigger than a 17" laptop screen. The TVs were also not flat-screens, which was a big shock. On the day after arrival, we went to the fitness facility which was excellent with many staff members on call to help you with the equipment if you needed it. After that, we went to the Oasis Water Park, in which you had to pay more than it was worth to get in. There were three water slides, a lazy river and a wave pool. You had to pay $40 a day for the water park (resort fee) and you werent allowed to bring any of your own food or drinks in, except for water! That was a rip-off! When we got back to the room at 5:00 P.M., our room hadnt been cleaned by the maids yet so we called to get it cleaned. They told us they would clean it at 6:15 P.M., 15 minutes after we left for dinner. When we got back at 8:00 P.M., our room still HAD NOT been cleaned. Other then the first time, the maid service was excellent. Then we tried to boot up the Wi-Fi. If you could actually get a steady connection, it was slow and disconnected often. The maximum connection was around two bars out of five on a PC. Over the next few days, the Wi-Fi disconnected constantly. We were not able to use the golf course unless we got out on it at 6:00 A.M. or else it was too hot. Overall, our stay was pretty enjoyable. I would rate this hotel a 3 out of 5.

I had read some less than perfect reviews after I booked our stay at the Arizona Grand so I was a little worried and didnt know what to expect. I was thrilled when we arrived the check in process was easy and quick the staff was very fast and efficient. I thought well maybe our room wont be so great after the reviews.. Wrong it was lovely and clean with a door separating a living area so half the family could stay up and watch tv while the others slept. (great for kids) the water park was clean and our children had so much fun which is hard to please a teenager and a toddler but bother were thrilled. We will go back for sure we are local so its a great stay-caton please will bring family and friends next time

On arrival the computers were down. Sounded like they would be down for hours. Delayed checking in. Went to warm up at the golf range. Went up to it and no golf balls to hit with. Came back and asked and was told it was closed. No signs telling me that. I asked why and was told there were too many holes in the net. Poor reason that just collected my green fees. Lastly, the putting practice green is so poor its not worth putting on. A very poor experience and recommend you do not play this course.

Great staff, nice club house. No driving range or practice area. Tiny and I mean tiny practice putting green. Used to be a nice layout. The changes they have made are not improvements. I will not waste my time or money there again. Congratulations to the management for screwing up a nice course. People like you shouldnt be in the golf business. Oh thats right your not. Your in the resort business. Well you ruined this one.

There are so many other courses in the area that are as good if not better. We were rushed by the ranger on the last 4 holes with more than 1 and 1/2 hours of day left. We all work early mornings so we need to play the twilight tee times but I feel we deserve the same respect and courtesy as the early tee times.

Website needs an overhaul. Shows u can book as single but site wont process and you dont find this out until AFTER u spent the time putting all your info in. Called the course and the person answering the phone didnt have a clue and wouldnt honor the rate on line.

One of the worst golf experiences Ive ever had! Ranger was rude, tee boxes were tore up, and bunkers not maintained, among other poor course maintenance issues. Could be a great course if management tried even a little bit. I would not recommend this course to anyone.

The Golf course was really amazing, it was very challenging for me. I never play golf ever, but my partner really insist me to try. Then we decided to go at this place and try the course. It was really fun and the resort was really has nice view.

The course is really nice, as are the employees, but the management here sucks. Employees get treated like Cuban nationals and the customers get treated about the same. I refuse to go to this place on principal until ownership changes hands.

I absolutely LOVE staying here. You can relax, use any of several pools (including the wave pool), ride the tubes on the "river ride", do the water slides, eat, drink, and really enjoy being here.

We do an event here every year, the staff is always great and it is always a lot of fun. Plus the golf course is pretty nice and the view off 18 is one of the best in the Valley.

Ask about their annual golf pass. It might be the best deal in the valley...
