Wanted to take my daughter and her friend for some water play but didnt want to spend an arm and a leg like I would at the water parks. Decided to give this place a shot since its 10 mins from my place. Of course its usually dicey with community type pools. You never know what you are getting yourself into. We arrived half hour early by accident, which I am glad we did, we were 4th in line which meant upon getting in we had our pick of shaded areas to sit in. They do not have much for seating so getting there early is a must if you want a good place to sit. It did get pretty busy half way through but wasnt overly crowded as I expected. The price to get in was great and the food they had for sale was decently priced for what I expected. The whole day I only spend $25 on all three of us! Try doing that at wet and wild! And best of all, I didnt feel super uncomfortable with leaving our seats and bag (non valuable stuff) unattended for extended periods of time. Def. Worth the money and will be back!

Weight room is adequate and clean. They have made some improvements throughout the years. They have w full court basketball courts but dont really take advantage of attracting mens basketball since the day pass is $8 and they do not set aside specific times for adult only play. They have a great lap swim pool (probably the main attraction here) but again, the time available for lap swim are very limitted. I have been going here for years and do like the facility but would say that it seems more geared towards seniors and kids under 18 than it is for adults. Some changing of the schedules, basketball only memberships or reduced day pass for basketball, adult only leagues would be a great improvement.

People who enjoy activity, regardless of age...try it out! This place is a gem in the rough but theres nothing rough about it. A clean, safe and professionally run, city owned recreation center is a great value when done right. These people have it down to the letter, and on top of that are willing to do more for you if they can. The staff here is congenial, professional and always there if you have any Qs. It is state of the art with a sprawling facility for the whole family thats clean safe and well run and maintained.

Clean facility and pools. Lifeguards are very friendly and active in their duty. Nice relaxing lazy river. They have two big slides for the older kids and one toddler slide for younger kids, makes everyone in the family happy. Reasonable priced snack bar with great options I didnt expect to see (hummus and cucumbers and edame), they also offer ice cream bars for $1.50 refreshing on a hot day. Will be going here again, had a great time.

Foothills staff members are friendly and helpful. The upstairs area, where I exercise, is well monitored. Also, there is good air flow from the AC, and while some community centers seem hot and stuffy, Foothills is kept comfortable for exercising. I appreciate being able to ask questions about the equipment, having workers who actually monitor what is going on, and a clean physical space.

This place is amazing for kids! The water park is great. The outside space to sit is well shaded. The staff looked attentive and like they kept busy. I saw that the location has many activities for a variety of ages. Now when I used the food court the staff there could use some better training. As the line moved too slowly for as many people were working.

Ive been a member for two years now and work out 3x per week. I feel comfortable at Foothills as it does not feel like a meat market and we are all there making ourselves better physically and mentally. Love the machines and think the staff are really cool! The price is right too. More affordable than what I paid at the YMCA on Greenway a while ago.

Great public pool. The price is really cheap, $5 for adults and $2.50 for children. Has 2 small slide, lazy river, nice size kiddy area, lap pool, and diving pool. The life guard/kids ratio are awesome and they did a good job. They do a random drill, so dont get spooked when they are rescuing someone.

I took a gentle yoga class here that I really enjoyed. The instructor Irma Juneau was able to give me a good stretch with discernible improvements without pushing it too far into hurting. Due to some sports injury this was important to me. The desk staff were always friendly and helpful too.

My favorite thing at Foothills is the ZUMBA GOLD class. I look forward to Mon, Wed, and Fri. The instructor Cyndi is so much fun, she really gives me a workout. I have done pretty much all other classes, but ZUMBA seems to fit the best!

The Foothills Aquatic Center has an awesome gym & its veery clean. They also have a very nice pool. The only reason I dont give it a 5 star is because of their operating hours. They should have longer hours for those that work late.

I had to write this after reading another review: I just called this center to get more information- the call was answered promptly and the gentleman at the desk was extremely helpful and courteous.

Always passed by, never tried until now. Who would have guessed that they have a mini lazy river and two decent water slides on top of a splash pad and pool for laps. Pretty good, for just $6.

cool place but since they are also a park and ride location so when bus riders get off the bus after 5pm they are sprinting to their cars and then speeding through the parking lot.

The pool and mini waterpark is a great and inexpensive gun for the entire family. The cafe is a tad overpriced but it still beats wetnwild prices! Great place overall.

Are we not in Arizona? The pool is open 2 months out of the year. Are you kidding me?? Its 100 degrees out on a weekend not to mention the hours are ridiculous .!
