"We dont have showers for the public." I paid my for my membership, its valid for a year, Im a community member not just a walk in. They then tell me the community center has showers but have been out of use for 2 year. I understand the city is hard on money but with all of the activities you can participate in I believe you should be able to shower after! Besides that the place is seems very nice. Pool table, indoor basketball court it looked like, weight room, ping pong table, i didnt take a tour but its overall nicer then the one on grovers. All in all its a very nice place and Ill return soon to play pool at least.

Great place! Been going for years, and the staff are friendly, courteous, caring and always helpful!Hard to find in too many places these days. I recommend for families and singles. They offer among other things, Indoor Badminton once during the week and once on weekends. It is a lot of fun and great exercise if you so choose to play. Players are friendly and accommodating and some will even help you get started for free,for love of the sport. Kudos to the Parks and Rec. people, without whom it wouldnt be possible. Thanks!

I just started going to meet my sons who are in the styem. Its one of the nicest places that we went too to meet up at. The basketball gym area is so nice and very very clean. They just redid it. My 14 year old son met some really nice staff and other kids his age there. My 11 year old also found some really nice staff with welcoming arms to us. Its always nice going there and seeing everyone so friendly and welcoming. Thanks!! Keep ip the amazing work.

I called and asked if they had racquetball courts, they stated they did. I went there and asked where the courts were, they pointed outside. After 15 minutes of searching I went back inside and asked again. The girl said, "oh, I guess we dont have racquetball courts." After leaving, I called a friend who told me that they did in fact have courts there, but they are in terrible condition to the point of unplayable. ?????????????

Nobody goes to this place ! Management is horrible worth decision making ! Word of advice if an argument happens dont shut down the gym for a month ... Nobody goes as it is but decision making like this is why comm centers close cause ppl stop going !!!!! HORRIBLE

Both of my children love going there. The staff and coaches go above and beyond customer service. Its like having an extended family. Keep up the great job Deer Valley Community Center staff and Coaches.

Its one of the nicest community centers I have been to in the Valley. The staff always tries their hardest to make you feel at home and they really love kids, you cant really do better then that.

They offer a great variety of classes for young children as well as older adults. My child has been to a gymnastics class, ballet class and will be enrolling her in a baking class soon.

The classes offered are great for my 3 and 8 year olds! They have so much fun! Miss Tammy is awesome with the little kiddos. She has interesting and fun activities for them.
