The Adventures of Dan&Stella

Reading the reviews, I expected this to be an interesting, well-preserved and interpreted battlefield. I was slightly disappointed, as the trail is very confusing. The signs dont really lead you in a recognizable pattern (where there are signs) and you will probably read the signs out of order, if you dont straight up get lost. The trails havent been maintained, and the long grass encouraged woodticks to crawl up my clothes. I am very happen that the land was acquired through the Civil War Trust, but I wish that is would be better maintained and interpreted and perhaps more people could enjoy it.

Great place to learn with trails to walk and explore. Very peaceful with deer and other wildlife around every turn.
