I got married at Heritage Hunt Golf and Country Club last August and the whole experience was a nightmare. Cary Muirhead was the sales representative that at the last minute turned into my day of wedding "coordinator." She was giving tours to futures brides as I and my maid of honor were setting up the place cards, escort cards, menus ect, ect. She was no help to me at ALL and left my wedding reception without even checking on me once or saying goodbye, even though it was stated on my contract that I would have a "day of wedding coordinator." I had been in contact with TWO different wedding coordinators in a span of 12 months and had explained to them everything that I wanted and need for my special day, which was a total waste of my time because at the last minute the sales representative became my day of "wedding coordinator." I spend over 3 HOURS on our last payment meeting going over what I needed and wanted for my wedding. This was something that was discussed in depth with my previous TWO wedding coordinators. Needless to say the FEW things that I had requested from them were NOT DONE! For example something so simple as, bring the ceremony flowers inside for the reception was never done. My guests who were sitting on the last table complained that their food was over 45 minutes late. I had a formal sit down dinner which cost more and I expected that all of my guest would receive their meals on a timely manner. I called a month after my wedding was over and complained about the service, my sales representative/day of wedding coordinator never got back to me. She even said "the general manager was present," thats nice because he/she never approached me or my husband during my whole wedding ceremony. Way over priced for such crappy service!! I would give it ZERO STARS!

Went here for a bridal shower, plus Ive been here before for a wedding and the wedding was gorgeous. However the bridal shower room literally continued to get hotter and hotter the entire time that we were in their. It got so hot that we actually left an hour early. Bummer because the food was fantastic; we had lasagna, Alfredo bow ties, Caesar salad , and we brought our own cupcakes. The entire staff was very friendly, and the venue was very pretty.

I have several friends who I have helped buy in this Community! Because of this I am invited to the pool, which I love. Just went today with my grandchildren and my Mom! I love there trivia night and Bingo which has raised Donations for Novant! Beautiful Community especially for anyone who is looking for a Master on the main level!

I attended a four hands piano concert with Stephanie Trick and Paolo Alderighi (American stride, ragtime, boogie-woogie, and jazz). What an amazing performance! The club was a beautiful venue for the event and all involved should be commended. Well done!

Nice course that is kept in good condition. Challenging layout but pace of play can be slow as course is in a retirement community and marshals dont seem to do anything about it.
