I agree that Top Golf has one of the best ideas possible to grow the game of golf and make it fun and enjoyable for the whole family...The thing is, its not enjoyable when the serving staff is absolutely incompetent when crap hits the fan and the place is over run with customers. When you go at an off hour when the place is maybe up to half full the service is acceptable, hence some of the reviews that dont mention wait staff. If you go when the place is packed, everything falls apart from the waiting period to get a bay, restaurant service, bar service, and customer service in general. We had an instance where our food was delivered to another table, had a wait of two hours for a bay, and our drinks go to another table to boot. Also if you are an avid golfer and want a place to practice, this isnt really the place for you. The balls dont fly well at all, some are just dead altogether. Im a 7 handicap and had almost identical swings on a 3 wood; one went 240 the other 180. You cannot accurately gauge your game here at all so if youre thinking about practicing and think its a good deal b/c you can hit all the balls you want for $35 in an hour...go to a real driving/chipping area, your money and your game would go a lot further there.

Horrible experience from a long time top golf fan. The positives: Food was great and drinks were ok. Negatives: The new pricing model is horrible and way over priced. At Top Golf Alexandria you pay by game. I can go by myself and usually in 1 hr I play two games and order food and drinks. Each game ranges from $5-$7 depending on time. So at most I pay $14 in golf then maybe $30 on food and drinks in 1 hr. At Top Golf Loudon they make you pay $45 per hour no matter how many people you have. Now if I want to go by myself it cost me $45 in golf and another $30 in food and drinks. This is crazy and more expensive than any round of golf for 1 hrs time. This place is only worth it if you have 3-4 people, and dont eat or drink until after you golf since there is a countdown timer and you waste golf time by eating. HORRIBLE BUSINESS MODEL Also there is almost no parking. What were you thinking building a facility that holds hundreds of people yet seem to have like 50 parking spaces. So disappointed and guess I will stick with Alexandria.

Topgolf Ashburn deserves nothing less than 5 stars. People who give this place anything below that are either nitpicking or had one bad experience. It is arguably on the expensive side (I would argue it isnt expensive; this is a Golf Driving Range with a built-in ball tracking system and you want to complain about prices?!) THE PRICES ARE EXACTLY WHERE THEY SHOULD BE BASED ON BASIC SUPPLY & DEMAND. If the prices were any lower, it would turn into a hang-out spot for high schoolers (like the Alexandria location). Ive been to this specific establishment upwards of 50 times (TopGolf member for 6 years), and I havent had a single bad experience at this location. Food is amazing, service is very fast, and the drinks are prepared better than 90% of the bars in the area (they dont use cheap ingredients). All in all, I highly recommend to any family for a night out or any golfer looking to improve their game while enjoying the atmosphere.

This venue is similar to other ones around the country (i.e. Dallas area) albeit more expensive, but people are paying it so more power to them, but only worth it for groups, I took my son one morning and was a $40+ for an hour and a half. Partly because I wanted to extend time a half hour and it was telling me $12.50 but I had to put $20 on my card, so now I have a credit I will likely never use, as it is too expensive. My 4 year old found a tee on the ground someone brought in or fell from a bag and he was standing it up and a waitress came by and confiscated it as outside tees are not allowed, and of course tears central. Otherwise service and venue was nice, but amazingly gets crowded even at the high costs. Also parking is not great which is poor planning. enjoyable but not cheap, and not a place where you would go to practice your golf game seriously.

We had a blast even thou no one in our group was any good. We went on a Sat afternoon so there were a lot of people. One person already had a membership card so they check us in and before we even made it through the line for the rest of us to get our cards (which are required but are life time and only 5 dollars) we had our bay. For all the technology this place has I am surprised they dont have kiosks to purchase and print your card. It would really cut down on the line. The games are great and when you go with a group the price is reasonable to split between everyone. But what is even better is the food and drinks. I was surprised it definitely wasnt your typical bar food, they even have eggs Benedict. And down be discouraged if its a bit cold out, the heater definitely keep you warm.

The place is really nice, and its fun, Top Golf is fun all over the nation. But the staff here is impossible to deal with. A cashier there told me that he loaded my Top Golf card with 50 dollars. When I checked the balance...it was $0. I went to complain and he said I was doing something wrong, the only reason I stayed was my group was still there to play top golf and watch football. This Cashier also insisted on speaking to me in spanish (my last name is spanish) which I dont speak...and he gave me grief for not understanding. I was very upset, Ill probably go back just because the facilities are nice, but I very much hope they fix things.

The facility is very impressive and the staff is very helpful. Last night was our first trip to any Top Golf facility and I have to say it exceeded my expectations this is high-tech entertainment at its best. It cost $45 an hour to rent the bay at night but think about it if you go with a few friends and you split the cost really cost not that much at all. The food was great the service at the Bay from the attendant was fantastic. The injectable donut holes is something Ive never seen and its a very inventive kind of food very fresh and very delicious. Fantastic fun for you and some friends or the entire family.

Spent $450 here and had generally a good experience, that is until we ran out of time. We had ~10 extra balls left to hit. Within moments, a glorified security guard with a Sergeants badge on his shoulder came to tell us we had to surrender our remaining balls and leave. I asked if my 6 year old cousin could finish hitting his last few balls and he said absolutely not. Very nasty and combative. I understand wanting to move customers out to fit in new players, but to yell at young children after we spent nearly half a grand is unacceptable. Spoke to the manager and got a credit, but I will never go back.
