After going to see Shutter Island last night, I totally agree with the review from a year and a half ago. I have seen many movies at Fox East and usually it is ok. But I have now learned to go elsewhere to watch any movie you think a young teen would want to see. There is absolutely no screening for R rated movies, which draws underage teenyboppers who giggle, talk, and text their way through the movie. There must have been 25 kids under 17 (the legal R age) there last night, and they were rude and obnoxious. It was ridiculous and Fox East should be fined. These kids are just that - kids - which is why the ratings consider their level of maturity. Fox East should follow the law and consider their other customers instead of the dollars.

I personally LOVE the fox theater its not to old fashioned but its not overly modern either (Like the IMAXS). Thats why i love it! I grew up watching movies there! I Still do! pretty sure its cheaper then the imax and less crowded plus is not overly populated with food, its has Popcorn, candy, soft drinks and more they keep the experience simple and i couldnt be happier when i go there! Perfect family place sure a few employees are rough around the edges but thats just life and hardly any are ever ruid to Anyone of the customers in there! Theres even a small gaming center when you walk in!

I used to go to this movie theatre often but over the past year or so it seemed to have lost all remaining charm. After the renovations years ago, I used to see a movie there several times a month but now it would be my last choice in the area. The past few times I have been there, I witnessed a blonde female (who I believe is the manager) scold the employees in front of the customers which just causes an awkward mood. One time, I even saw this happen outside in front the theatre. I would suggest only going here if its a movie you really want to see and it isnt playing anywhere else.

Googled movie times, it showed an image this theater has power recliners. It does not. The image was cut off so you cant read only fox berkshire and sun and surf has these. Fox east is an old theater. That said, its old seats are comfortable.

Appearance, and customer service is absolutely amazing, lots of variety for snacks seatings are the best! Comfortable, spacious. Greatest family move night ever, will be back soon.

No lines, friendly staff and comfy seats that recline back a bit. They have great matinee prices for movies.
