Great golf course and great staff. Considering the use, they keep the course in great condition. Hats off to the maintenance crew. Nice wildlife around too, several Red Tail Hawks and Bald Eagles. Instructors are terrific and Kevin McNece is amazing as an instructor for the junior golfers. Kevin is patient, positive, and reinforces golf etiquette. The only thing that can be improved upon is the sand in the bunkers. In general the green side bunkers need better drainage and deeper, lighter sand. So if you stay out of the sand, youll love this course. The course will punish you for wayward shots as the trees which line most holes add to the trouble. The accurate golfer is rewarded at this course. They have a junior membership, kind of wish they had that for adults too. Another review commented on closing early, Ive played late with my son many a time with no issues. They may close the ProShop, but you can still finish your round. Update 3/2017: They have done work on the bunkers since my original review. Drainage and sand quality have been addressed on several of the holes. Just a few others to go, hopefully will continue the improvements to those this year. Great course.

The course is kept in a decent manner, nothing to write home about. The bunkers arent raked often- or at all, however. There are good staff members and bad ones. As a whole, the course is unfriendly to singles and basically anyone that doesnt bring a foursome in my experience. They want your money and only your money. There are only two bathrooms on site and theyre not in the friendliest of spots being right at the club house, so hopefully nature doesnt call in a hurry. Being a municipal course, it gets a lot of hacker play so the slow pace is pretty standard...but the management does nothing to curb this and in fact schedules tee times at 8 minute intervals on some days. I play it because its close, but i wish someone would put some care into it because it could be a really good course.

I would rate it two and a half stars, but that is not an option. Fairways and rough are well maintained. Driving range is nice. It offers lessons which are helpful. Some of the staff is very stuck up and arent nice. They mow the course and maintain it in the late morning and early afternoon, which is the time when most people play. It is very irritating and annoying. Front nine has a decent layout, especially the first 6 holes. After that the holes become fairly generic - straight fairways to a green that is propped on a hill sometimes. The rough is not easy to hit out of, and neither are the trees, so keep it on the fairway. It is an alright course. My friends and I like to go to the driving range here, then hop over to another course in the area such as Four Seasons or Crossgates.

We arrived at 738 pm Sunday 6-12-16 and the young gentleman that worked there told us he will only stay open until 815 pm because he has another job and he has to be in bed at 9pm so we went to another place. I would assume that if the hours say 8 pm then you can arrive at 738 pm on a Sunday evening and be able to play a game with your child.

Great course in pristine condition! Fun course to play if you remain in the fairway. The rough is thick and and high in some spots. I played twice early in the morning and pace of play was fast. Staff was friendly and very accommodating being they knew I was from out of town. Certainly recommend.

Love the pickleball here at the activities center. Jerry does a great job with the Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoon sessions and the Monday night and Thursday night sessions. Give him a raise! Fun game.

Course was pretty good, womens tees are not very good, very bumpy, like an afterthought, only half the water jugs had any water, not what you expect for weekend golf.
