The location was good, we were spending a day at Sesame Place. A few things I was disappointed in with the hotel. -it wasnt as kid friendly as I would have thought for being an "official sesame place hotel" (microwave was low and my 1 year old had a field day turning it around when I wasnt looking and opening and closing the door) among a few other things . -the air unit didnt work well at all (hot and cold), and it was so odd that our windows didnt have blackout curtains and only moved less than 1/4 of the way (needless to say we were facing the front which is a busy busy street and was well lit, so noisy and bright throughout the night). -the poorly designed bathroom, the drain was broken so it was hard to give the kids a bath, and when the adults showered the curtain was installed so far away from the wall that when you showered no matter how you moved the curtain the floor was soaking wet. It was almost like they tried to remodel and just poorly slapped new over the old ( ie when painting the lines were not straight and you can see mistakes. We didnt eat at the restaurant so I cannot speak on the food. The staff was friendly. The pool was NOT as pictured but for a quick 20 min swim with the kids it wasnt bad. It was crowded though and I felt like theyre were locals and non hotel guests there so even though its key entry maybe that should be monitored. People were also there in their swimsuits which was kind of gross and the reason we left. We were there to play at Sesame Place (which was awesome), go to the aquarium and other site seeing with a 1 year old and a three year old so we were at the hotel from maybe 8pm to 8am. I would stay here again despite the negatives (and the fact were only in the room to sleep), but maybe try someplace else next time. There are closer "official sesame place hotels that I want to try next time.

NOT family friendly at all. I have no idea how this is a Sesame Place preferred hotel. Staying here currently and wish I could switch my reservation to a different hotel. So the good: place is decently clean. Could definitely use some new paint and dusting but ehhhh most hotels can. The bad: extremely small hotel rooms idk how any one is fitting kids and all there stuff in here for more than 2 nights. Pool with way too much chlorine and a jacuzzi that is really dirty. Dining options are nice and food is good but not for kids as its a big bar and the hotel is full of business trips heavily drinking. The laundry mat has the 2 oldest machines I have ever seen and its filthy plus littered with clothes others have just left there since the machines take so long or because they gave up waiting with all the drunk customers partying in the hallway and bothering. Hey dont worry tge sleeping security guard on that floor Im sure will help you if trouble occurs :-/... why am I using the laundry?? Oh because none of the bathrooms have vents ( who doesnt have exhaust vents) so our wet bathing suits from sesame place ( a waterpark!!) /pool have stayed wet for 2 days. There is no way to even try to hang them up either. The shower bar is curved which means lots of water all over the floor. Oh perfect for small children to slip. There is also 0 options for kids under 14 really. Yeah you have the pool but all other sesame place hotels have activities and theme nights... this place. NOPE. So if you are looking at a place for a business trip and need a night or 2 stay this place works great for you. If you are a family booking through SESAME place keep scrolling. Any of the other options ( we have stayed at all 5 now) are extremely better. I doubt this will be a choice hotel much longer anyway.

I checked in 07/11/2017 at 10:45 P.M. and the front desk person was very nice I believe her name was Marcy. When I eventually used the bathroom it was filthy hair in tub and on walls it looked as if the rag that the floor was wiped with was used immediately afterward on toilet and walls. I spoke with the manager and was offered a 50% discount which I accepted and I went and spoke with my wife who was at breakfast and there was a piece of hair fried into her bacon she wanted to speak to hotel manager but left conversation with it being unresolved so she then spoke to the general manager who gave us an additional night on him which was great ( and our room was changed of course ) so we where both happy and proceeded with our day at sesame place but we received a call and the 50% was retracted I didnt think it a big deal until I got back to hotel several hours later and the television wasnt working correctly and someone came to have a look at it but couldnt fix and when I went to inquire further I learned that my room had been blackballed and the staff ( in my opinion ) not to help us so we didnt have a remote and none was ever brought up because the staff was told not to help us and I am posting this publicly because this type of thing needs to stop and people ( consumers) need to know about how this particular company operates I think that the full refund should have been given and the general manager should have done everything possible to make his guest happy and comfortable but he did the complete opposite I wish I could give this place a negative 5 star because I would very disappointed with the whole stay

Check your bank balance immediately!!!. I have a receipt for $118.81. They took $143.81 out of my account to start. They found an empty pack of cigarettes in the trash can and charged my account $250.00 because I was in a no smoking room. They found no ashes, cigarette butts, or burn holes and had to have several manager come "sniff" the room on a Saturday morning (how many mangers are at a hotel at 10 a.m. on a Saturday?) and deduced I had been smoking. When I called and spoke with Michael, who checked me in (this took a while because he was laughing at a story his female coworker was telling in a foreign language, checking his cell phone, and asking me to call the wedding party to double check what time he should drive the shuttle to the wedding since he wasnt sure), he had no answer as to why I was charged more than my receipt showed and told me a manager higher than him would not be in until Monday, I would just have to deal with it. BTW, I checked in an hour before the shuttle was scheduled to leave, Michael got us there late. After the wedding I went to sleep. Then I woke up had a cup of tea (the coffee pot spilled steaming hot water all over the place), packed and checked out. Not only was there no time for me to "smoke up the room", I wasnt going to complain about the blood that was all over the light switches and toilet paper in the bathroom since I would be sleeping and leaving but If you are going to steal from me, you better have a blood free bathroom.
