Great of a stroll, run, or bike ride. The park needs some tending to though. You can see garbage near the banks and in random places. Some trails have high grass that cover it, walkable, but I dont know if I want to come out with critters all over me. Overall still awesome place to get away near the city. Plenty of wildlife to observe as well. I dont fish but you can also fish from plenty of fishing spots.

We were visiting grandkids for Easter Sunday, hardly any real parks in Philadelphia and this was close by airport hotel. Lots of ducks and their droppings , served its purpose and it was nice view of water. Barely anyone there so we got one of two picnic tables. Few shady people in area but overall was ok.

Absolutely beautiful park on the Delaware River, unfortunately located near the end of the runway for PHL airport . If you show up on a day where there are few departures, its wonderful, otherwise it can get a bit loud

Wow talk about a history lesson Swedes established here long time ago. View of island channel and boat dock. Merchant ship pass in main channel. Go to The Deck for a Landshark or favorite beverage.

Flee market and food trucks on Wednesdays are fun for the family. My daughter loved the bouncy. Food was good and river was beautiful to watch

A lovely park with a lot of history. Even a game made of stone you can play to teach history children. Great views I recommend!

People playing games, the history of the first Swedish settlement. Tinicum is a cool place to see the river. Lots of parking.
