I have been debating whether to write a review about his place or not because its not really a restaurant or like an exact building, its a local area thats not available year round. Spruce Street Harbor Park has many perks when it comes to the warm weather months. The food, games, the board walk, yoga, theres even a swing set, craft beer, tacos, nets to sit in, just many many places to chillax and relax or catch up with an old friend or hang out and grab a beer. But it can get a little packed! Its a great tourist spot too, but the food can get a little pricey for the size majority of the time. I recommend the Chickies and Petes fries more though!! You wont go wrong with it. Its great area, but it really depends on what youre looking for. Sometimes Im not trying to be screaming my lungs out to hear the person Im with because theres obnoxious people around me that cant tone it down. And there can be weirdos from time to time, that being said, it is a really cool place. No public or street parking, and if you find some its either paid or only two hours in length. The cobblestone road will DEFINITELY mess up your struts so have fun with that; plenty of parking lots, all of which you gotta pay for. Or you can take public transit here or an Uber or Lyft. It really is a decent place, when you have a decent spot with not many obnoxious people around.

Nice place for all ages. The hammocks are always full all times of the day. They have sometimes food trucks parked by the street side and craft vendors. There is a firepit and some small games out near there. They have ping pong and shuffleboard? and swan boats. The beer pier is the best. Most of the time you need to be 21 to even enter on there. Its beautiful at night with all the lights on the water and around there. They have sand at the end of the pier with chairs and nets that u can lay over the water on (a lower net catches any lost items from going in the river). They have Angry Orchard Cider and usually Yards and Victory beers. I believe usually there are only tacos in that section, so for more you would have to venture out. The outside has funnel cake, donuts, water ice, all types of regular food. There is a new tiki stall by the hotel with vegan ice cream as well as regular. The chocolate is amazing. There is an arcade at the other end by the ship, which is by the bathrooms (very dirty, but thats to be expected). Sometimes bands play during week nights.

Urban planning done the best way! Cant get enough of this place. Its the best mix of indoor/outdoor - right at the waters edge with all the comforts! The space keeps expanding north, starting at Spruce Street and working its way towards Chestnut and beyond. Along the way theres a beer garden with different vendors always serving up the brews. In addition, theres outdoor games, food trucks, mini golf, boat rides, a roller rink, and of course the famous hammocks! Careful on giving up your seat though - its hard out there for a hammock seeker! The staff is always courteous and willing to help you out with any inquiries. In addition, its pet friendly! Bring your canine companion out for a great outdoor hangout session - what more can you ask for? With so much going on, theres likely something for everyone, and if not, theres always new things popping up! Plan to stay a while and let the good times roll!

Delightful outdoor space right on the Delaware. Decent selection of about 10 beers on tap. A number of food trucks spanning almost the length of the park along the water, including some vegan ice cream options. Im not sure about vegan food options other than ice cream, however. There are color changing lights strung up all throughout the trees that illuminate the entire area in a warm glow. Giant Connect 4 and other outdoor games, hammocks strewn about seemingly connecting every tree to the next, large fountains, plenty of seating and areas to hang out. Even until 1AM it was bustling with life but not overcrowded. I will definitely be going again. One word of warning: dont try to find parking. You would be better off getting a ride there and back.

Give credit to Philly for taking a space that was not really that inspiring and turning it into the "go-to" spot for Saturday and Sunday outdoors day drinking. Spruce Street Harbor Park is less of a park and more of an adult playground with games (that you have to pay for --___--), food trucks, beer shacks, and more. Its really fun with great views and hammocks if you need to pass out for a bit. The down side is that it hasnt changed much since it first opened a few years back, and in fact, it has scaled down quite a bit. So, its a fun time the first time, but I wouldnt keep going back. They need to switch it up a bit and try something new with the space. Kudos, Philly, now keep getting better!

This place is great for friends and for a date. You can drink all over the park and the beer selection is pretty decent. They have food selections from sweet to savory, but expect to pay for it as they are all "food truck" style and served as such. For example, for mere ice cream some of the selections are $15 which is outrageous. Beer is reasonable for Philly and craft brews at about $6 a cup. The only issue I have is that not all places serve the same beer. Example you might need to board to barge to get a beer you want thats not served elsewhere, which means you may have to wait for people to leave so they arent overweight.

Actually a decent draft beer selection for an outside venue. They had over 10 different beers on tap when I was there last. They also have margaritas and wine (the margaritas are also fairly but super sweet, maybe bring a water bottle to dilute it a bit). Then again, Im not a margarita guy, so maybe theyre perfect the way they are. They have a larger food selection this year compared to last year. Grabbing a hammock can be tricky, but if you wait long enough and scan the area, run over as soon as it looks like someones about to get up so you can be right there when its empty, and youll be able to snag one.

this lively harbor hang out has wonderfully cozy designed with a spread of comfortable hammocks between trees and over the water next to the bar. The adult area has sanded nooks with tree lights and colorful beach chairs and an all together island vacation feel. My only critique is how busy it can get with nosy children and mixed crowds of teens and meanders- this really puts a damper on how great the spot is. Also there arent many clear written restrictions but so many regulations and regulators. It was difficult to relax but great to look at.

This place was so incredible. What a great idea! Everyone was really nice and calm and chill and we just sat back and had a few drinks and had a really good time. There were some guys up there that were dancing the whole night and everyone was cheering for them in addition to all the really cool lights and hammocks! This place is freaking amazing I would recommend it to anyone! And its free! You cant beat free right? Oh, and its very kid friendly. There were kids anywhere from 2 to 20 there having a great time! Ill be going back for sure!
