Just moved to the area and this is the first year I have played at Harmony Ridge. I play here 3-4 times per week and over 100+ rounds a year at this course and other various courses in the area. Staff is always friendly, laid back and the course is improving. The food is also always great. Since the beginning of the golf season I have seen great improvements in the quality of the course and I feel the staff is working very hard in trying to bring the course in to better shape. The greens are slow but have shown great improvements since the beginning of the year. With these improvements they will be in great shape going into next year (will be able to be cut shorter and rolled more). The course is hilly, there are blind shots, and there are many uneven lies, but that is golf. If you dont like it better just stay at the driving range. The fairways are generally cut well, but unless you want to pay the $50-$100 per round price you will not find any better at most places. Tee boxes need work but that is an offseason project to re-grade them. I do not ride in a cart (at any course) so I have no comment there. Overall I give it a 4 out of 5 because improvements are still necessary, but overall a good course with very friendly people.

Not going back, ever. We had the the 8am tee time and we beat the staff to the course (we arrived the usual 15-20 minutes prior to the tee time). No practice green, no true clubhouse (original was destroyed by fire a few years back) and the course hasnt recovered. Teeboxes were overgrown & not well maintained and the greens were very long even after we saw the cutter out. Fairways and rough blended into one another. They also had an infestation of beetles everywhere. If you want to play 18- they have a second set of teeboxes for your "enjoyment" changes the viewpoint on a few holes to make them at least a little different. There are the bones of a playable 9-hole course under there, but little to no maintenance, makes it less than desirable to play. Hope they keep trying to improve. But I wont be back.

If I could give negative stars, I would. This course is absolutely TERRIBLE!!! Played here about 3 years ago, it was awful then, its even worse now. The fairways are barely discernible from the rough, the tee boxes are overgrown and the greens are a slow shaggy mess. Having to search for balls that land in the area where the fairway should be is just unacceptable! There were beetles everywhere! The golf carts are old, the seats have holes that are duct taped. The tiki bar atmosphere was nice, but the bathrooms were in just as bad shape as the course. $20 for 9 on a Sunday was overpriced for this scrub course. Im not sure I would play there again for free. I will NEVER be back.

I can see the potential in this course. The design is good, and with some more maintenance this course could be good. I wasnt expecting much and was pleasantly surprised by the condition of the greens, even though they were very slow. They are working hard to get the course in decent shape. Tee boxes and fairways still have a way to go, but they have a plan. This is a good course to introduce my son to golf and have him get used to playing various sidehill lies. I can see and appreciate what theyre trying to accomplish here. Give it a chance!

Nice 9 hole course. No crowds. Easy to get on and hard enough to challenge but not so long that you cant get a few pars. Could use a litte more grass cuttings but quite green. Alternate tees if you want to play 18 without playing the exact hole again. Friendly staff and nice outdoor bar area.

1st time golfing this corse, pleasantly surprised ! For a 9 hole layout with optional tees use for a second nine the corse was in good shape. Tee boxes were ok, fairways and greens in good shape. I could tell the staff is working hard to improve. Definitely will return

This course was actually designed by the same guy who designed Oakmout. So its hard and tough and awesome. You never have a good lye and if you can par this course you can be par any course. Keep everything right. And if your lucky Jimmy will buy you a beer after.

I moved to ambridge about 2 years ago and I come here often. Nice little 9 hole course that is perfect for the novice golfer. Seems like they are doing work everyday and the greens are true. They have a great little patio bar as well!!

I really enjoyed my round. The course is much improved and is a lot of fun to play. The greens looked great and the fairways were cut nicely. The staff was very friendly. I would definitely recommend playing here.

Only because I cant give it zero stars. Worst course Ive ever played. Fairways cut higher than most courses rough. Greens SUPER slow. No yardage markers on most holes. Didnt even finish my round. Waste of time.

Great improvement in a short period of time. Fairways were well maintained and forgiving. Greens were great and receptive. Will be a fantastic course when renovations are complete.

Funky little 9 whole with a second interior design to turn 9 into 18 n change the play. Loads of hard shots some blind. Fun to play... great price. We will come back!!

Horrible. All blind holes, old carts no signs bad cart paths no one in pro shop when I went in after 9 to get refund on 18. Worst course in Pittsburgh

Pretty solid course, needs a few things to be done to it but the workers are friendly and seem to have a plan on fixing the place up again.
