Excellent Dark Wave dance night every 2nd Saturday - look for "Ceremony" on Re-Bars schedule. $5 entry. Cash only bar. This is where the old-school Seattle Skoochies crowd comes. My only complaint is that I wish it was more than once a month! Re-Bar is an excellent, old club that will hopefully escape the wrecking ball as Seattle "develops" - Over 20 years serving alternatives of all stripes. All are welcome here!!

Very negative experience. They didnt let me in, because I only had a card and their bar machines didnt work and their ATM didnt either. It was 1:45 and they close at 2:00. They love their $10 cover so much that they rather have an unsatisfied long term customer for 15mins left on the event. Very disappointed with their values. Still cant believe it.

Re-Bar cannot be overstated in terms its cultural importance to Seattle. Passing through the door here is stepping directly into Seattles music and arts core. It is at once historic and current. It is totally unassuming, and yet made entirely of our most treasured values. Re-Bar is the beating heart of Seattles downtown. Dont ever say no to a show here.

It was so packed, there was no room to move or dance. They opened the doors at 10:30 and coat check was full by 11. It says that its queer friendly and open to all. My straight friends came to support me and got harassed by these girls because they werent queer. Intolerance goes both ways and it really ruined the night.

Totally a casual pub that draws an eclectic crowd. Interesting groups , bands variety of shows. This place has been around forever and for that reason alone it deserves respect. It was one of the first bars to see Cross dressing as mainstream. Drinks are cheap. Not for the overly conservative patron.

This seems to be one of the central places in Seattle for stand up poetry readings. Ive been to a couple different well-run poetry events at Re-Bar which it is well suited towards. The bar keeps itself simple, has cheap drinks, and feels slightly divey in a comfortable kind of way.

Ive gone so many times to Dina Martina, Hedwig and the Angry Inch, and the actors doing "gay Shakespeare". Its a great entertainment venue. It is not glamourous. It is down to earth and easy to enjoy on its own merits. Its worth a visit to one of its shows.

Everyone is welcome here, gay or straight or whatever - as long as youre nice. Ive been going there since friends brought me there 14 years ago, and I like it because theyre not trying too hard to be cool and they have great DJs.

Perennial Seattle melting pot bar - Home to an incredibly eclectic mix or theatre, dance, poetry, cabaret, live music, found footage, game shows, pencil fighting and everything in between since 1990. A straight-friendly Gay Bar

Had a lovely dinner here. The beef was cooked perfectly. The side dishes were very tasty and the service was good. Price was very fair for the quality of food. Cute little venue in an excellent downtown location.

What a wonderful place this is. They have a great dance floor, perfect for a large group, the drinks are flowing like a free river. This place is just too fun to start with!

A very Seattle performance venue and dive bar. Really has a feel of Seattle in the 90s which is a great cultural and social mix that drives the city.

House music Sundays, so much fun and great crowd. Line to get a drink is insane though. They should really do something to remedy that.

Saw a show here and had a great time. The place is a little ruff around the edges but definitely worth going to.

A bit of old gay Seattle left. Friendly staff. Old building preserved amidst new towers. Tacky and fun.
