My new secret garden, not so secret anymore. Just inside the north end a colorfully tiled grotto embraced me with a sense of whimsy & wonder. Following the east fork of the trail led me down flat trails through a nicely varied collection of ponds and natural ecosystems. The trees and plantings hide the roads, giving the sense one is in deep nature. Ill be going back soon to walk the other trail.

This place is beautiful but feels a bit dilapidated. The signs could be cleaned up a little bit and some labels could be added to the plants. That being said the place has some beautiful art work. I also took a star away because the garden has English ivy in one part. English ivy. Purposefully. English ivy is an invasive species in Washington.

Meander your way through the various outdoor rooms of this 8 acre site and experience firsthand the important role ponds, marshes, and wetlands play for filtering our urban storm water. Along the way you will witness the confluence of art, technology, and nature in a unique way.
