I love this place. We live close by and I take personal pride in having this facility near our home. The quality of sound is amazing and most concerts there have been simply spectacular. We have been to many concerts both in Weill Hall and Schroeder Hall - amazing sound quality. Unfortunately that was not the case for Diana Ross tonight. Concert started at 7:30 and we left by 8:00. Its 8:30 now and Im at home in my PJs writing this. The sound engineers set up the systems for a stadium while this is a fine concert hall. You could replicate the experience turning the treble and volume on your system up full and going into your bathroom to listen - everything was horribly distorted. I dont know if it was Diana Ross entourage that insisted on this or if it was just a poor decision, but we found it an assault on our senses and best to simply leave. I highly recommend the Green Music Center for most concerts! Everything else we have heard there ( over a dozen concerts) was between "really good" and "great"! I suspect Diana Ross still has her voice from what I heard, but it was really hard to tell with all the distortion. I hope they learn from this experience - although I was in the minority. Most people seemed to stick it out.

I was really looking forward to seeing Boz Scaggs and Robert Cray and I was very dissapointed. I am shocked that they hail this place as some great music center because the view and the sound sucked. It was my first and last event here. You might as well watch a concert on TV because that is all you are getting, and honestly my sound system at home is better than this place. The options for food and drink were pretty good, but they do not tell you that you can bring your own picnic which tons of people did!!! Had i known they would allow rolling ice chests i would have brought one myself!!! It was like a backyard party with a bunch of strangers who kept talking throughout the performance so it made it even harder to hear the music. I am no novice at music events and I was really hoping this place would deliver but I was sadly mistaken. I wish I had done what I usually do, get tickets for the show at a better venue...like LBC, or even in the city at one of the many great venues there where you can see the stage and hear the music!! If thelawn seats were free it would be worth it, but they are not. two thumbs down for this venue.

It is so well balanced with natural light and wood finishes that it glows a honey color. Unbelievedably beautiful building. Made almost entirely from maple and alder railings, chairs, paneling. etc. A real architectural gem. Acoustically rich and personal for an auditorium. The first concerts start in the Fall of 2012. Enjoyed the 2017 Bluegrass Event & Beer Bash. Our 1st event here. Very, very well done! Great grass seating outside, just bring short-legged chairs or enjoy a blanket on the lush, gorgeous grass. Food, drinks & water for sale. Plenty of water refill stations for free. Amazing jumbotron viewing outside. Awesome acoustics inside & out!

Home of Santa Rosa Symphony, guests such as Lang Lang and Yo Yo Ma, renknowned professional music staff, great student community, and possible summer home for the San Francisco Symphony. This is by far one of my most favorite places to just kick back have some real conversation and just be yourself, and I just think its always amazing just how beautiful the lights are at night time...I like to come here and just lay out in the grass and look at the stars

Nice facility. There are some bad seats so depending on what you are going to see you should really figure out where to sit. The security lines were a waste of time. They had fake wands and were doing it for show.

This gorgeous music Hall is so beautiful that it makes any performance even better. Seating is excellent, acoustics too, outdoor summer concerts are a blast and the staff are always polite and friendly.

Beautiful hall. They bring in an outside music series during the warmer months but you can see loads of student concerts here. Fun, but bring a butt pad for more comfort.
