This facility is really great, and a 100% improvement over the original center. Nice locker areas, the pool areas are great for kids with the water playground and river. I use the larger pool for laps and the huge day lite hot tub for soaking hat looks over a garden area. Frequently use the weight and exercise machine room. Nice equipment which they are good at keeping everything repaired and working order despite the heavy use. This facility gets a lot of use. And because of that there are hiccups from time to time because if its popularity Ive seen lines going out the door with kids when they have events. They have an art display area where they display rotation art from young students which is nice to the kids and their parents. Overall a good place for the community. Its a win-win.

Ive been going to the Lynnwood Rec since I moved to WA more than a decade ago. Best Rec Center in the state and possibly in the nation. Plenty of activities to do at the Center and always friendly staff to welcome you. Although I miss the old ReC Center before 2009, thats when nostalgia kicks in, especially the swinging rope, the new remodeled center is a huge improvement. The new facilities are top notch and everything is well organized. I always tell other folks to go there for sporting activities and generally relaxation. I extend my gratitude to all the personnel at the Lynnwood Rec Center for a doing an extraordinary job and personally I think we are blessed to have such a facility in our community.

The swimming instructors are not really qualified. I had issue with one of them for telling me my daughter is not ready to go to the next step. I complained to the supervisor and he came to test her, when we watch all the kids; all of them were doing the same thing just like my daughter but they are ok to go to the next level. The superior said all of them are wrong but that is how the instructor been teaching them. It is wasting time and money. All the instructorsame and even the so called supervisor has different ways to teach, dont even follow the instructions. I am glad I spoke to the manager and let my daughter go to next level

What a disorganized useless place. First, zero parking. Then by the time you get up to the door, there is a sign that says full. Then the person out front says there will be a recount at 1:30... so you hang out with your child from 11:30 only to be told the recount is at 2:30 for some staffing something or other... wow. Glad i actually went in and asked before we sat outside waiting where the guy told us to. What a disappointment... especially for my child. Dont waste your time at this useless place.

The beach area in the pool has lots of fun features that my kids love to play in. The slides are fun too. It definitely gets crowded at times though. We held one of my kids birthday parties here and it was a lot of fun. The room provided was very nice for cake and games after swimming. My kids have also taken several rounds of swim lessons here. The teachers have always been energetic and attentive, going a long ways towards developing my kids comfort and safety in the water.

Multiple choices on pools. Wadding river with current, splash pool, two reasonably good waterslides, hot tubs, sauna, exercise pool and lap/diving pool. Price is good and also a well stocked exercise room at same price. If you get annual pass a good selection of classes is included. No idea why anyone would not like this facility. Also family dressing rooms as well as Male/Female locker rooms. No towel service but if you are desperate you can buy one.

We love this pool. There are 2 water slides and lazy river and play structure. There is a family hot tub that is not too hot for your little ones. There is also an adult hot tub. Get there early on the weekends and school breaks. The sessions sell out about 15 min before they start but sometimes you can come back about half way through the session and get in. Not crowded during the week.

Beautiful facility. The recreation swims are quiet Monday to Thursday when school is on. The lifeguards and swim instructor are regularly trained and the management is always seeking to better serve the community. I loved the facility so much I joined their team and I stay because I believe in the managements commitment to the community. Great place to live, work, and play.

Really liked it when I went there for the first time there. Lifeguards will totally save your lives, also there are a variety of activities you can do with your kids, like free swim, or go for some slides. Everything is good, but its good to know that you need to go there at least 10:00 - 11:30 A.M. because then there is big line where you are going to wait for a long time.

I was waiting with my little daughter for 30 min outside, in front of the building. Someone came out and said its full so in 20 min it will be available again. I was sitting in my car and after 20 min when I came in they told me its full again and it will be available again in 2 hours, so I wasted my time for almost 1 hour. Bad customer service.

it was a pretty nice pool for the most part, however, they did not give me back a refund when I was in time of need of it because I had family problems... these are my kids who both were signed up for the lifeguard course and one did not enjoy it at ALL... the other is doing it next week. But other than that, the pool is nice.

Good fun but they could improve the wheelchair changing rooms. Even though my son is small I had a really hard time changing him on the bench which is far too small, and wet from his shower. Ended up using the baby changing table which was sloping downwards. Need a bigger changing bench to be considered properly accessible.

Extremely rude old lady staff, kept yelling "out", forcing our families out, letting the one year old changing on the outside bench in the cold winter night. This kind of employee should be fired immediately. Very limited changing room, long waiting time. Will never coming back.

Nice small place for the city. Kids had fun. As an experienced lifeguard for many years and a supervisor lifeguard, i am very impressed with the staff. Lifeguards had great attitude and tone of voice with troublesome kids. Great area coverage and professionalism.

The remodel is awesome. The lap pool is the same but they added a lazy river and waterslides. Its a lot more interesting to take kids there. It is more crowded now because of the rise in popularity. The lifeguards are well-trained and are very courteous.

The water area has two water slides, a lazy river and a water play structure. It has a separate deep pool for diving and swimming. Childrens life jackets and inner tubes are provided for no added cost. There are locker rooms for men, women and families.

My daughter was wary of water until we visited during their beach swim time in the morning! Now she is a little mermaid and doesnt mind water in her face! Should have brought her here for swim lessons last summer and saved myself some money and time!
