The course might be great, however after 3 lessons into a package of 10 one hour sessions, I still hadnt hit the ball! In the 3rd lesson I began to ask clarification questions and it was clear the instructor didnt appreciate my enthusiasm for knowledge & quickly sent me off to the side. He then ignored me (so much for Ill get back to you) & chose to work ONLY with my husband (who had golfing experience & was there mainly to encourage me). Yes, we had made it clear up front that our goal was for ME to be able to join him. Hey I get it, beginners take time & energy, but you accepted my money knowing I had never golfed - you KNEW what you were getting into! I suppose I should have known better as my 1st experience with him was when I wanted to buy clubs, asked to see them (new in box) and he told me he couldnt open the box. Um, then how do I know if they fit my teeny-tiny size? This instructor might be great at golfing, but clearly isnt able to teach or treat clients with respect. Dare I say women clients? Yeah, Im not going there...

The Auburn Golf Course has come along way over the years. This course use to only have 9 holes. In fact when you stand on the 17th tee the next time you play, view out over the 16th green you just completed playing and visualize the 9th green some 350 yds as you peer over the water. With rebuilt fairways, NEW Club House, NEW restaurant... the 100 plus members appreciate all that the City of Auburn has done. With a great staff; Greens Keepers, Head Pro, assistants, and all who make up the experience are to be commended. Regards, Scott Salisbury

Played it once, short golf course and the holes are much too close to each other, every other hole is a potential death trap. I played only once and I got HIT TWICE. Once in the LEG, and the other ON THE HEAD!!!!!. PLAYERS BEWARE, IF YOU LIKE GETTING HIT WITH GOLF BALLS DURING A ROUND, THAN PLAY THIS COURSE Locals tell me it used to be a 9 hole course, maybe it should of stayed that way, never playing this course again, I value my life more than this death trap of a course.

I was impressed with the course, even though we started on the back-nine and had an early experience of climbing #11, and then the downhill of #6 - WoW! A real test for your spikes traction. Enjoyed the few undulating greens, nicer if it had some more. Didnt notice any HBs anywhere in the course, have to wait until you pass by the club house for nature call. Will definitely play there again. Staff on duty were very friendly and accommodating.

This public course has gone through many changes over the years, good ones too. Theyve added a new clubhouse and have refined many of the holes. This course used to be a swampy mess, but now its clean and playable which is great! There are a few signature holes that are absolutely beautiful, #16 par 3.

Its a joke....its Sumner Meadows all over again. They allowed (5) 5-somes tee off one weekend, the following weekend they were behind schedule by 45 mins at 7am. No starter or marshal. People driving up on greens, on tee boxes. 5+ hour rounds easy.

Pretty good course, greens were in great shape. Not the most diverse course ive played but its fun and a good challenge none the less. My visit there was part of a 4 man scramble, looking forward to going back and playing my own complete round.

Beautiful course, however no one standing with us could understand what was being called out. Need to improve that part folks....golf was lovely, and the food excellent in their restaurant. (Bloody Mary! mmmM)

The day I was playing the grounds personal were punching the fairways and spreading sand. I know its nessisary to maintain but we were not informed until we arrived, otherwise the course was in fine shape.

Decent course but very hilly. Not having a cart would make playing 18 holes quite hard. Beautiful clubhouse but to pay for it they keep prices to play fairly high.
