My (new) husband and I got married here last Saturday. It was gorgeous. Being January, we got married indoors, but were able to take advantage of the beautiful scenery with a few photos in the vineyard. We had our ceremony by the fireplace, and then the reception was in the beautiful event space in the next room. The room is beautiful, with gorgeous chandeliers, but with rustic tones, including a breathtaking cork wall. The staff couldnt have been nicer or more accommodating. Our 85 guests all commented it was one of the nicest, most intimate and most personal weddings theyve ever attended. We are so thankful to the 8 Chains staff for making our wedding a day well never forget.

The tasting room welcomes you and has always been a relaxing environment. Granted, dogs are allowed, but dog owners often mind their dogs if they act up a bit. The wine is wonderful and hasnt disappointed me once. The staff are very accommodating and the views from the back patio are very calming. Inside, during the winter, there is a full on fire place which confirms the relaxing atmosphere. I highly recommend at least a visit, but Im fairly confident youll want to come back.

Excellent wines, great service, prices are good. It was totally worth the chocolate and wine taste paring (great matches). Ask about why it is named 8 chains (neat story behind the name). We joined and have returned a couple times since - always a pleasant experience. While they do not have a large selection of wines (6 if I recall) every wine is made great. The winery is relatively new and is growing. The tasting room is large and you dont feel crowded. Would recommend to anyone.

These guys make an awesome list of wines. Their reds are best, but the whites are no slouch either. They also serve MC2 chocolates that are available for sampling with your tasting. The grounds themselves offer a beautiful view of the vineyard with a fenced-in area ideal for letting your kids run around while you enjoy a glass. Their malbec is better than anything Ive seen from South America.

We went over 4th of July weekend - it was busy but not packed. We brought along our black lab and the staff and people visiting the winery were so accommodating. They made sure my husband and I and our dog were comfortable. Our dog had the best time and the wines were fantastic too!

I went there with 3 friends on June 14th and thought it was some of the best wine, white and red, that I have tasted in this area. I have visited most of them too. The person dong the tasting was personable and knowledgeable. I joined their club on the spot and cant wait to go back.

Too pretentious for my taste. I dont particularly enjoy being snickered at. The wine wasnt anything special either. We did meet some nice dogs though...

Excellent wine for the red lover! Friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating staff. In my opinion 8 chains is one of the top 3 wineries in Loudoun.
