I ended up at Crushed Cellars by accident driving by on the way to the Hillsborough Winery, and boy was I glad I did! Crushed Cellars is the first VA winery Ive been to where I liked every wine I tasted. Its very small and modest, but the owner poured the wine for our tasting, is incredibly accommodating, and made our experience memorable. I recommend it highly. Oh ... never made it to Hillsborough that day ... we had too much fun at Crushed Cellars.

We had a great time at this winery. Sat at the bar and tasted some good wine and ordered the delicious bread which came with olive oil for dipping. They also gave a little sampling of bread with some olive topping. There was a guy walking around working that seemed like he might be the owner, who just made us feel welcome and like friends. We ended up taking some eggs and steak home. Will be back to this winery. Definitely quaint and welcoming.

Crushed Cellars Vineyard really surprised me when I visited the other day! Stopped in to do a wine tasting and man was I surprised! The red wines all were very appealing and flavourful to my pallet. The owner was very accommodating and hospitable made you feel at ease and at home. They provide a wide variety of light hor doeuvres to pair with your wine tasting. I would highly recommend stopping by this little vineyard you wont be disappointed!

Crushed Cellars is a likeable and very casual winery. The tasting room is cozy quite friendly and they go out of their way to give you an excellent tasting experience. The Meritage is great and is a good one to rack for a few years. For whites, the Traminette is very tasty and drinkable. Be sure to check out the organics, eggs, bees wax and cheeses.

Cozy little place; where some vineyards are more like event centers, and others are almost snooty about the wine experience, Crushed Cellars has a fun/casual hangout vibe. The wines were pretty good, but the customer service was excellent and very genuine.

If I could give 10 stars it still wouldnt be enough! The best experience every and extremely friendly. I cannot say enough about this place. The cheese plate, dips, wine... EVERYTHING was amazing! If you dont come here youre missing the best of the best.

Really great whites here! Highly recommended: Seyval, Vidal Blanc, Splash of Summer blend, Chardonnay. Merlot and Meritage reds are nice award–winners, too.
