Here you walk a concrete boardwalk next to a busy railroad track, athletic field, and airport. There is little tree cover, but excellent views of the Capitol and the airport. Arguably one of the best views of the Washington monument because it is far enough to appreciate but close enough to rise up in the distance on the walk. Airport distance is perfect for take offs and landings without excessive noise. As for fields, there are probably enough for a major soccer tournament. With only a few apartments and one office building close by, this is not a place to come for a short, shaded walk without sunscreen. But for those looking to add a mile or two to their jog, it is a great stop to add to a Crystal City trip.

Nice spot right off the highway. Decent amount of pay parking but the fact that you have to pay at all is a bit annoying, not exactly in prime city spot that takes away from other businesses. Soccer fields are great, with teams for kids to adults and a variety of sports. I run through here frequently as well. 4th of July has festivities and a new playground on the south end for the little ones.

I like this park a lot. There isnt a lot of shade, because it is new and the trees havent grown yet. My daughter loves to come here because you get to watch planes and trains. There are train tracks right by the park and depending on which way the winds is blowing you get to see the planes take off/land at Reagan the flight path for landing is right over the park.

Like all Arlington parks, this facility is clean and well maintained. This park is basically four turf fields with a walking trail along one side. The fields are heavily scheduled, for youth soccer, adult soccer, football, and occasionally Ultimate. Although the facilities are nice, it isnt really a place to go unless you have something scheduled there.

Happened upon this park accidentally a few weeks ago with my kids and we loved it! Something for everyone with very unique playgrounds catered towards older kids and younger kids, a sprayground area that looks like it will be a lot fun in the summer, bathrooms, a great walking bridge with nice views and a great spot for airplane and train watching.

My 2 year old loves it. Gorgeous park with lots of facilities. Good playgrounds for most age levels and s really cool mist playground area to keep cool. I love the promenade where you can watch planes, trains, and get a view of Crystal City that makes it look fairly cosmopolitan. Also a good view of the Washington monument. Great at sunset.

Nice turf fields for soccer and lacrosse. Public bathrooms, also. There is a small playground with a mist feature for little kids as well. Kids also love watching the trains that occasionally go by and the planes that fly close overhead. Much better now that they paved the road leading into the parking lot, but wish the parking was free.

Lovely park - the DC area needs more places like this to be honest. As much as I love the grass areas, I am so excited for the completion of the fitness facility - from what Ive read, its been delayed, but I truly hope that the project can continue. In a city full of concrete, this is just the perfect spot to go on a job/get out and walk.

From walking your dog to participating in a soccer match, Long Bridge Park is a fantastic location offering the best views at Washington DC, entertainment, and access to one of the greatest neighborhoods in the metropolitan area. You can get here by plane train Metro Bus auto bicycle or any other mode.

I love this park because its not too crowded and it literally designed for moving around. There are benches but its more of an active park. People are playing sports, running, walking, and biking usually. We also enjoyed playing in the childrens park with our son. Its a small area but designed well.

I would say this is a better place then gravely point to watch the airplanes take off. Not really a park though for kids since there is no playground, but if they like to watch trains and planes there are great places to watch both go by. Also great walking and running paths.

Beautiful park, large number of lighted turf fields. Field manager was on a bit of a power trip when telling everyone to wait off the fields until 30min after seeing lightning. 30 min had passed but he said he was adding time because someone had stepped onto the fields.

Im lucky I live so close to here. Its a great park to walk around, take a nap, workout, play club sports (mostly soccer), or take out your dog! Clean area filled mostly with turf soccer fields, but has a couple kids playgrounds on the side too.

Awesome park. Great game fields and walking area to get some exercise done. Very peaceful and manicured and you can watch the little birds play. Great place to see the planes fly over into National Airport as well.

Neat little area for a jog. No shade, very hot in the summer. Used to be a toxic dump. Now its a few soccer fields. Watch the 4th fireworks, planes at Reagan, VRE, and birds at the sanctuary all in one place.

Long Bridge Park is a great walking area for tourist. I live here but sometimes its nice to take a stroll there with the family and enjoy the sites weve already seen and discover something new.

Brand new, high quality sports complex with turf fields, nice restrooms, lights, and good parking. I had never even heard of it and couldnt believe Id been missing out on playing there!

Ive lived in the area for a decade and didnt know this gem was there. Great space to take little ones on a walk, with views of ball fields, airport, and trains.

Parking sucks in the minuscule lot, and Arlington County ass-rapes you on the metered Street parking...$1.25 per hour! Will NEVER be back, totally not worth it!
