This theater is so essential to Rutland that "walking distance to the Paramount" made it onto our house hunting priorities list. My husband and I see one or two shows a month here and it never fails to amaze us. Coming from a larger metropolitan city its fantastic to find such a diverse offering of quality shows here in Rutland. The Director Bruce is fantastic and he will go out of his way to make you feel at home every time you walk in.

Great, historical venue for all types of events, from music to theater to "town hall" lyceum-style gatherings. The venue is programmed by thoughtful, well-connected individuals who bring great performances to an "off-the-beaten-track" Vermont town.

July 13, 2017 The Waliers played with all the original living crew and the only way it could have been better is if Bob Marley was alive and there playing !!!! The Paramount did an excellent job hosting and showing them - worth every penny !!!!!

Saw George Thorogood last night. Great show! The staff at the Paramount were very friendly and helpful. Perfect venue! Easy access and lots of good eateries within walking distance.

Not a bad seat in the house! Intimate and in a wonderful state of good repair. I have lived in VT for many years and regret only now finding the Paramount...it is a gem.
