The Egyptian is a great theatre featuring local talent as well as both local and non local music venues. Recently we attended Park City Follies, and Emma, which was put on by youth theater performers. Both venues were nothing short of fantastic. Built in the 1890s, this theatre has a lot of charm as well as history. The original theater seating has been replaced with the more modern comfy seats, ,some of the old seats are being used at the No Name Saloon in their waiting area! The venues have an intermission, and the "snack bar", is literally a bar, with a good selection of beers as well as wine. The theater has a large stage as well as an array of screens for multimedia productions. All seating areas of the theater have great views of the stage. I am very happy that we have such a great local theater with excellent local support, local adult & youth talent, and management.

They have a varied schedule with all types of live performances on stage every week, so theres always something good to go back to see. They sell beer and sometimes are able to sell cocktails. The staff is friendly, the sound and lighting are excellent. And most importantly, they get great quality artists, which is especially awesome living in a small mountain town! Its a casual atmosphere that makes you feel right at home.

Not a bad seat in the house! Small theater built around 1927, now run by a non-profit organization. Diverse selection of acts, music, dance, stage productions. Most shows run 1 to 3 nights, typical prices range from $25 to $50. Beer and wine available at most shows and may be brought into the theater. Parking available in the muni garage behind the theater and on Main St (limited and pay). Air Conditioned.

Saw Jennifer Aniston here. I took my kids here in January to the Sundance Film Festival. The Egyptian Theater as the original home of the Film Festival. The place is very crowded with people looking for movie stars. They do Live theatrical performances like Stand-Up Comedy and also movies. It was a Park City Opera House opened in 1899. Now the Theatre operated as a community gathering place.

Been there many times and always had good experience, until last night. Went with folks who had mistakenly bought Thursday tickets for the show and thought they bought Friday night. The theater was literally 1/2 empty for the Paul Reveres Raiders show, so seats werent an issue. They were given ZERO consideration and had to buy three more tickets for the Friday show. Not the best PR!!!!

Wonderful location with lots of history and character. Definitely a must see. Always have something playing there, always a destination for Sundance as well. Concessions are theatre priced but fresh. Bathrooms are clean but small, lines form quickly during intermissions. Theatre is cozy and features a balcony. Strongly recommend seeing Odyssey Dance here when they are featured.

My absolute, hands down, favorite indoor venue ever. It is beautiful inside and out, the sound is fantastic, and they have awesome musicians who play in this intimate 275 seat theater. I have seen Al Stewart, Booker T. Jones, Shawn Colvin, Todd Rundgren, Mark Farner, Brewer & Shipley, Richie Furay, and many others! I love The Egyptian Theater!

It was OK. The funny and fast paced 2nd and 3rd acts balanced out from the very, very slow going first act. I really could have left after the first act. However, we stayed and glad we did. Again, not a 4 or 5 star but it was entertaining and a different experience. If you are up in park city try out the Egyptian.

The theatre itself isnt that great. The video, audio, seating quality; however, the cinema itself has so much culture and history to it that it makes this place amazing! I love when cities have older cinemas, it adds so much personality to the place.

Never seen a bad show here! The performers are so professional. Took my husband to see Beauty and the Beast (live theater isnt really his thing) and he was blown away and cannot wait to see another show here. We hope to see Cabaret in July.

We went to a Beatles show on last New Years Eve. The Egyptian theatre was a fabulous location, and the bank was wonderful and very entertaining. We had the most amazing time, and we will come back for more events throughout the year.

This is an old Egyptian-themed movie theater turned live theater; we saw Beauty and the Beast performed by a local group of actors who did a very nice job. They have concerts and other artists throughout the year. Very quaint.

Its always a great time seeing the productions at the Egyptian Theatre. The venue is small so everyone gets into the music, and it makes you feel part of the play..... Looking forward to Mary Wilson of the Supremes.

Classic old park city performing arts theater. Everyone gets their picture outside under the sign. Inside has fun decor. The seats are comfy but there is not much leg room.

Fun theatre! We did have an issue with being charged twice for tickets. The staff was quick to reimburse us. I was happy with the service they provided and would go back.

Iconic, and very well kept theater. The staff is very accommodating, its also one of the few theaters that sells alcohol. (unless the movie has sexual content LOL)

Cute little theater. I saw Annie here a few months back and it was a pretty good show! I was surprised given it was so small but it was actually pretty great!

The Egyptian is a great venue and managed by people who care. If one does not attend events there, it is their loss. Great

Great venue for acoustic music. The sound for Hot Tuna was excellent, and all the seats give you a good view of the stage.
