We enjoyed the wine tasting back in Dec. The fun part starts now. I ordered a case of wine to be shipped to my house in GA. i missed the shipment and it got returned to the winery. I called for a refund and even though i paid $205 for the case, i was only refunded $132. Shipping was around $25, so even if you take that into account, the refund should have been around $180. Mike, the gentleman i dealt with kept giving excuses that i dont have a receipt and strangely they did not have a detailed record of my transaction.I even sent a credit card statement for the charge and the refund to Mike as he was not able to find the transaction on their system, seems hard to believe when you are running a business. I finally got an email indicating that the only way my total was $205 as i might have purchased other items besides the wine. Hmmm maybe i ordered a ton of those pretzels they serve and it was gobbled up by the UPS driver who returned the wine to the winery. The additional refund i was offered was $7. Terrible Terrible customer service and book keeping, and just a warning to other visitors to not order from these guys.

Enjoyed our stop here on Friday evening. The town was crowded for a shop at Gruene Hall, but this place wasnt too packed. Wines were tasty and were a good option for those looking to cool down as a lot of their wines are cold, fruit-infused white wines. However, if youre a real wine enthusiast, this place may not be the one for you as a lot of their wine is infused with fruit flavors and not just wine itself.

A pleaseant find on our hunt for a lunch spot. We stopped in to enjoy a wine tasting while we decided where we were eating. The tasting was very reasonable...$5 for 4 good sized pours and soverniour glasses to keep. My husband tasted a few different wines that we like so much we bought. The employees were very friendly too! We will be back for sure.

If you are visiting Gruene, Winery on the Gruene is a MUST GO SEE!!! They have fabulous wine and a great atmosphere! You can also make your own custom wine and you can make your own custom wine labels as well. We get wine from them all the time for special events and everyone love them! Thank you Winery on the Gruene!!

Terrible experience. Was told I could not be given a glass to drink my wine from because they close soon. Wine tasting is not a "filler up!" Task, it should be an experience. Wine was decent, but I truly have no idea if it would have been something Id buy because the lack of customer service.

honest reviews really wanna know...... this place is awesome. Im a wino so I try lots pf different wine from down on the border past htown and this by far is my favorite infact I didnt get online to write a review I was gonna buy some peach. anyway buy some you wont regret it.

Relatively small venue, with a huge selection of wines to try. Some of your basics and some unique styles as well. Youll definitely find something new to like, and staff is super friendly. Tons of outdoor space to hang out, but the inside can get a bit warm and crowded.

Wines taste delicious... Outside is nice and comfortable. Staff is efficient and helps out quickly, but this is my first time here and top off that I am new to consuming wine I would of liked a more of a guide on what to drink.
