drink prices are a joke. $2 wells before 11 is ok...but you cant get a double well for $4. After 11 its $4 for a WELL drink with a tiny bit of alcohol. $8 for a double well drink. But you cant get a double well for $4 before 11. Not to mention my phone said it was 10:55 but your computer said it was 11:02. Thankfully i got there before 11 and didnt have to pay to get in. But can you imagine having to pay to get in after 11 and they want to charge you $4 for a well with 1 oz of alcohol in it? $22 for 4 shots of tequila rose...strict 1 oz pours...not even a mouth full. It was a friends birthday and we all wanted to do a shot. we got 4 baby shots and paid for a whole bottle of tequila rose!! I will never, ever go back. I spent $40 and didnt even have a buzz.... ridiculous. Went with a group of friends. we all said we would never be back. my friend ordered a sprite back (which is a shot of sprite to take after a shot) and they said they would have to charge her $2.00 for it. Ive told everyone I know about our experience. I really planned to write a private message, but there isnt an option on the page.

This place is a Ed Hardy Rhinestone Douche Bag Heaven. Drinks were over priced for Lewisville, this isn't Vegas... $8.50 for a Jager Bomb? Pay for Jack and Coke and get house whiskey? Dress Code? Who in Lewisville has a dress code? Tryin to keep thugs and gangsters out but you play their music and the whole place dances to it, thats BS! Dont't judge by clothing. If its a true country bar those people won't be there anyways. We were just tryin out a new place on a friday night and had a horrible time between bad drinks and "rules" and will not return. I'd rather go to Denton where the bars don't discriminate, drinks are reasonably priced, you get what you order, and people just want to have a good time

I took a group of girls from the restaurant in there on a Friday night. Website said free lessons and no cover til 11:00pm. Because two of them were 20yo, the woman at the door charged me $20 each. I had to fork over $40. Nowhere on their site did it say anything about people under 21 being charged any cover. When I went back later and complained, the manager just said it was only $10 each and she would have no reason to charge me more. Seriously? I pointed out that nothing is posted online or at the door. Had I of known, I would have taken them somewhere else. Needless to say, I did not receive a refund. Just beware that what is on their website and what they actually charge are two different things.

Pay cash!!!!!! The last 6 times Ive went there; there has always been an extra $5 dollars that shows up on my card. AND it is always an even $5. At first I thought it was the people at the front. But I know its the bartenders also. Someone got it started and now they all do it. Its like how are u going to track down $5. Ive been there a lot, Im a big tipper so no matter if you tip big with cash they will automatically steal $5 from your card. $5 x 10 people a night (per-say) x 3 nights a week x 4 weeks = you do the math. THIEFS!!

Plays good music, and not a bad place. Dance floor is a bit small and the smoke sucks. They could use some floor fans. Over all a good alternative to other places as its not as crowed if you actually want to dance. Not sure what all these other people are talking about. Mike T Im pretty sure it wasnt just your "trendy" D bag hat that got you kicked out it was probably you attitude and mouth. Think about it next time. People dont just kick someone out for that. Ive worn plenty other hats there besides cowboy hats and ball caps.

With a name like Electric Cowboy I expected to two step. This place is all like dance and rap booty shaking. For sure the city Cowboys dream. Not a real Texas dance club. If your looking for the Texas experience skip this place. With the Stockyards in Fort Worth 20 mins away... your much better off going to Ft. Worth: dont waste your night here. This is a hard review because this was a great place back in the day!!

I was really hesitant about going to be honest. But had a good time. Went for my coworkers moms 50th. The bar tenders were fun. Ppl were dancing. Two stepping I guess you call it. They played a variety of music. Id go back. But not just with one other person. Id rather have a few friends. Im the type that goes out alone often! But I wouldnt do that here just because its not crowded. Or wasnt when I went.

Got kicked out for my friend ordering 2 shots for herself, assumed I drank without watching me. Which I didnt even touch a drink. bouncers were terrible. Manager didnt address the situation. We were there less than a hour. DO NOT COME HERE! If there was a negative star, Eletric Cowboy would of definitely gotten it !

Bring your dancing shoes. Its a pretty decent place to go. Better than the one in Fort Worth. Super friendly, it has a smoking section outside with picnic tables. Good mix of country and hip hop. Always draws a good crowd of both old and young. They have dance lessons at 7. All around a good bar.

While visiting Dallas we headed over for a lesson on two step on a Wednesday night. We had a great lesson and met a really nice group of people. Im excited about learning a new dance! The price for drinks and door entry is really amazing. Very different from back home in Atlanta!

It was way to crowded for my taste and wasnt found of the music they were playing at the time we went in. Be sure to bring cash if you try to enter from the back door. The people that were they did seem to be enjoying themselves though. So we may have gone in at the wrong time.

I was in this place about a week ago. Rednecks and terrible service aside, the girl at the front bar thought to add a little something for herself to the tab. Too bad I have the receipt. BTW - is there really a reason that two vegas bombs could cost $16.50?

If your an adult and know how to dance dont bother too many non dancing children , pretty much worthless after 9pm because of them letting children in, useless place to dance . Go-to stagecoach Ball room in ft worth , no children and adults only who can dance

Stay off the Electric Cowboy website. Its full of viruses, they need to rebuild the site on another server. My Anti Virus stopped a full scale attach when I was checking them out. I work in Cyber Security for those that are not computer literate.

This place is great if you like country and hip hop music but cant decide which you would rather listen to. Its awesome if you like to overpay for drinks and ladies, if you want to have a stranger grind on you, you will love this place!
