Ok, not everyone is so thrilled with this place. Yeah, we get that Houston now has an MLS team with its own stadium downtown, thats just the right size for soccer in the US, at 22,000 seats. Gotcha. Check. Roger. Acknowledged. Right on. Got it. Now heres the imperfect: 1) Not one single cup-holder in the entire stadium. A stadium that broke ground in 2011 and opened the next year was architecturally designed without cup holders, something that is now standard at high school stadiums in this state. Remarkable how that makes one feel, having to put your drink deeeeeep underneath your seat for safekeeping. 2) One jumbotron replay scoreboard at the north end. If you happen to be sitting in that end with your back turned to it, TFB. Tiny little one in the south end upper deck, about the size of a smart car that you can look at from 150 yards away. Enjoy. 3) Completely enclosed except for the sky above, meaning theres no horseshoe style open end, which would allow for a breeze. So the sun bakes the place during the day, and by the 8pm kickoff for July games, its down to a pleasant 94 degrees at your seat. No reason to go there in the age of the HD flatscreen. Dynamo, you did this to yourselves; you couldve built a retractable roof air-conditioned stadium (yeah, I know, there are already 2 in H-town, but you didnt want to play at another teams stadium, now, did you?

This is an awesome stadium. I really enjoyed my time here. Ill put it down as "Very Good" rather than "Excellent" because Houston really needs covered stadiums (I went on a cooler day in October, theres no way Id go during the summer months). Also, on rainy days, you cant bring in your umbrella. So if you carry an umbrella to get to the stadium, you have to leave it at the entrance and hope no one takes it. Thats kind of lame. Still, the views are great, the stadium itself has a great look to it (I love that it glows at night), and its very conveniently placed in the downtown area. I wonder if other "big" games will be held here, or if theyll keep them in Reliant (the last MLS All-Star game in Houston was in Reliant - Im not sure this would be big enough to house it, which is a shame).

As a Dynamo fan the appeal is off the charts by definition. There is not a bad seat in the house for viewing. I could not stand the unshaded seat for daytime games and I have never tried. The steep pitch and the partial covering does not allow for much air circulation as we were accustomed to at Robertson Stadium. It is best to sit up high where the air moves better. One real drawback at night is that the lights are way too low and shine in your eyes. I hope they can adjust them. The concessions are fabulous. The food is good, the beer is cold and the servers act like they are earning commissions... fast, efficient and friendly. Wow! I am going back tonight!

The Stadium is nice and still new the staff very friendly and helpful. Should come out and support the Houston Dynamo and Houston Dash TSU has football games here as well. The Stadium is open so be sure to check the weather and be ready to bear the elements just like the players including the mosquitos (unless your in a suite of course). Either way its a good time the food not too many options and expect to pay a lot for 2 hot dogs and a drink nothing else was about $20 which i dont mind paying for (Its going to be high at all major sporting events you go to) just wish they had more food options.

Just went to a game last wknd and walked 4 blocks from car to get to gate and you cant take UMBRELLAS into the stadium!! They said people have been fighting with them and are no longer allowed. It was supposed to rain and its an open stadium! The lady said I can walk all the way back to my car or leave my pricy umbrella on the table and get it once I come back out. But...she said they are not responsible if its not there when you come out. So in other words, you leave it on the table basically to give to someone else! So ridiculous that the majority get punished for immature behavior.

This stadium looks really nice and has a lively crowd. However, the stadium is open to the air and was VERY hot, almost unbearably so at times. It was literally hotter by at least 10 to 15 degrees than the heavy 90 degree (with relative humidity) southern night. I give this stadium a four out of five only because it looks nice. Otherwise it would have received a three out of five for being built with an open top that seems to prohibit a breeze which leaves the inside feeling like a crawfish boil.

The players for DASH are very professional. The way they treat their fans is inspiring. An example to all athletes -professional and college of how to interact with their fans, taking selfies and signing autographs with authentic smiles and gusto. DASH and womens soccer deserves a lot more promotion and recognition. The excellence of their game deserves a full stadium. Hope to visit throughout the season. Stadium is confortable, parking ample and the games are exciting.

Its a nice open air stadium. As it is open air theres not much shelter from inclement weather. One thing Ive noticed is that during games in the day, especially during the hot summer days, the home team side of the stadium tends to be directly in the sunlight while the visitor side is in the shade. One game I went to, many of us on the home side has to move further up in the stadium to the sections that were shaded by the roof to escape the heat.

Why on earth can you not bring harmless noise makers into the game!!!???? Although the staff, security was some of the friendliest that I have ever experienced, the stadium has a no noisemaker policy. Absolutley ridiculous. Again, the staff, security, and law enforcement were awesome. But I simply do not understand why a stadium that hosts events like this would not allow these things inside. And do not give me the weapon excuse.

There isnt a bad seat in this stadium. I am a Dynamo Season Ticket Holder and the experience is amped up with the supporters section. There is plenty of parking around the stadium. Its easy to get in and out of, except if there is a Astros game happening at the same time, then you will need to arrive early. They have a great selection of food and beverages. The staff is very friendly. Definitely get out and attend a Dynamo game!

What a great stadium! We had season tickets to the Dynamo when we lived in Houston. We lived close enough to walk so we never had to deal with parking. The light rail line should be opening soon so that should make traffic/parking better. Just be careful around the train! Try to get seats on the East side of the stadium, that way you can have a nice view of downtown and maybe a sunset if the game time will allow for it.
