Tom Jones

This is a nice comfortable bar just two blocks off the strand. They have an very nice selection of interesting craft beers and other drinks, so you can bring non craft drinkers. They allow dogs inside so it is a great place to get out of the Galveston heat and enjoy a drink. They do not serve any food. The location is a loft for artists so they feature the local artists work so there is always something interesting to look at. We tend to make it a regular stop when we visit the island.

I was here on a Saturday evening. The place was quite empty. I would recommend trying the beer flights as they have a good rotating tap selection. They also have card games for groups. Good place for a late night social gathering.

Fantastic beer selection in a cool environment. Very friendly bar staff, clean restroom, and awesome art hanging from the wall. Just off the strand you can still take your beer to go. A must stop for any strand bar crawl

The staff wasnt helpful, my beer was frozen when they got it out of the fridge.. Im not going back to this place. The art that was being displayed when I visited was all demonic themed, it wasnt a nice setting.

I went there for Poetry Open-Mic which is held on 1st and 3rd Tuesdays of every month. The event was well organised, beer was good, the atmosphere was great.

Nice corner bar for the artsy, 20-something crowd. Over 20s can come in for a drink in a nice place before the young crowd arrives around 9 or so.
