The museum was impressive despite its small size compared to other area museums. It had a great collection of artifacts contributed by survivors of the Holocaust living in the area. The exhibits were very well designed and great care has obviously been taken to ensure that the entire experience is very interesting while still being very educational. I was skeptical initially (especially considering the depressing nature of such topics as the Holocaust and genocide) but after visiting, this museum showed itself as truly being one of Dallass best kept secrets. It really is worth your time especially as close as it is to all of the other points of interest in downtown Dallas (like the 6th Floor Museum).

BEYOND FRUSTRATED, More with the parking than the Museum! The last time i went i was in college, so this was my 1st experience in the west end in a while. Took my son to do a report for school for what i thought would be a great experience, but it was not what i remembered. Then when i come out.... I had a ticket! But i paid for my parking. The phone # on the ticket goes to a collection agency in Colorado, and there are 2 different fax numbers to mail your documents to, one is incorrect. Then they refuse to do anything about it even with my proof. $75 for a ticket Plus the cost of the Museum, which was super packed. :(

Overpriced. This shouldnt be called a museum. This was the smallest museum I have ever attended. We finished in no time and went around the small circle 3 times to see and hear everything all over again. I want to spend hours in a museum exploring and getting lost in the topics. If you have a college understanding of the Holocaust this place will be mundane and frustrating. I ended up just giving my girlfriend a personal tour because she had so many questions. Also, had a picture of Elie Wiesel while in a concentration camp but no mention of him.

It is not a big museum. It does have educational recordings you listen to about some of the people that survived the holocaust. Others that did not. There are numbers on the displays you dial into a phone-like device and it explains the displays or pictures. They are supposed to have a new location later on. The tour takes one-two hours depending on the time you take to hear all the information or any live tours that might be going on. A place to go when you want to get out for awhile, learn about history for a small fee.

It was an informative trip for my students and allowed them to see artifacts related to what were studying. I did feel a little rushed since we were part of a group on a Saturday. The museum is pretty small and we were rather crowded, so Id recommend going during the week if at all possible. Additionally, you might be able to meet and listen to a survivor talk. The staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, a rewarding experience with an important message.

Very disappointed almost no recognition of the other 5 million people put to death by the nazis. Displays where low quality and most of the articles where reproductions not authentic the train car wasnt even real. No pictures allowed as well Please , please save your money and time much to expensive for the price and a disservice to so many others who died for their beliefs.

I absolutely LOVED my visit here. My Husband did not enjoy it as much as I did but he is not really a history person and is not into museums. I could have stayed there all day reading each story and looking at all the exhibits. It was a sad feeling seeing some of the items but it is history and I am glad people are able to share their stories with the rest of us.

El museo del Holocausto es una gran experiencia para recordarnos esta gran tragedia de la humanidad.Que la historia nos enseñe sobre lo que nunca debe ocurrir otra vez.

Much smaller floorplan than I anticipated. Still had a good number of displays and historical items from the war. The audio tour system is a little goofy (everyone looks like theyre listening on 1990s cell phones). It was a short but strong reminder of how watchful we ought to be in our political systems and in standing up for everyones rights.

It is $10 per person, and it is a self guided tour. Some people seemed to be going through it very fast, but if you want more details it is worth the time. It took my fiancé and myself about 2 hours to get through. We listened to everything. It is very educational. I learned a lot from this museum. It really touched my heart.

An audio-guided tour is unexpected but different. A few different exhibits but rather small and crowded. The only place comfortable to sit was the "theatre" where they showed interviews of victims. Interesting and different for a museum. Bathrooms are hard to find, because you have to have a password. Would probably go back.

I was there the day of an NFL game I had tickets to. The wait was too long to get into the museum and to be able to get to the game on time. Not their fault at all, I hadnt planned on there being much traffic the day after Christmas. I will return at some point and go through the museum.

This is an extremely powerful experience. The curators have gone to great lengths to bring the events of the Holocaust to life with visual representations of the lives taken as the Nazis became more desperate in their efforts to wipe everyone they saw as unfit from the face of our planet.

This museum is a great way to explore the Holocaust in a way that is not too depressing. When you visit, you will experience one days events. There is definitely an element of hope to the exhibit, and I left wanting to learn more about what I saw there. Well worth an hour of your time!

Did not know people at museum were racist just cause I am of middle eastern decent I was escorted the whole time considering the "museum" is so small they thought I wouldnt notice I went there for a college assignment so sad to see this type of closed minded behavior

Its a small museum, but for the price (with audio guide included), its worth it. If you plan to listen to all of the audio (which gives information of displays, as well as first person narratives), it will take you about 2-2:30 hours to go through the museum.

Kind of small but for that price cant beat it. Very informative. Loved the audio guide option for certain pieces in the museum. The videos of the survivors at the end was very moving. Some pictures were graphic so wouldnt recommend for younger children.

if youre in Dallas and looking for something to do, take a look. Every museum on the holocaust is different and has something to offer. They have full size train cars inside (replica?) of the kind used to take people to the camps. emotional

Really amazing place to visit. We were visiting Dallas for the day and I really wanted to come here because I had heard about it online. Definitely worth it. The stories and information you hear is really powerful and a great experience.

Museum was ok, not many physical items to view, more listening to the stories on the audio guide. Some news articles from the US at the time were interesting. The newest exhibit with video evidence was interesting to see and hear.
