Nice property but the owner is unbearable. Dont believe me? Just read the multiple reviews from other people all stating the same thing. I believe his name is Ron. He is like a prison guard whos primary goal in life is to find things to complain about and charge people for. He doesnt seem like a happy person. As a visitor, he is determined to make you feel unwelcome. He comes across as rude, offensive and cheap. He has poor people skills and doesnt care about his guests. He treats the property as if it were his home only and he is forced to allow guests but he clearly doesnt want any there so he tries his best to discourage people from visiting by charging high fees, having ridiculous policies and just being plain rude.. My family feels uncomfortable every time we visit my dad because of him. I would not recommend living here or placing any family member here due to the current management. Country Place RV is like the Spirit Airlines of the RV Parks. Their rates are good but they nickel and dime you for every amenity they claim to offer. Just read other reviews about people being told one rate over the phone then being upcharged upon arrival. Even as a resident they charge $25 a month for WiFi. Ridiculous. Cable companies only charge $5 a month so Im not sure where they think they can get away with such a ridiculous rate. To use the pool, $5 per person. Most pools only charge guests $2 if you dont have a pool pass. My retired father decided to move here about 6 months ago. I have only visited him a handful of times but I encounter Ron almost every time I come and it is never pleasant even when I am nice and respectful. For starters they make you sign in at the front office for every visit which is annoying. I have never had to to this at any place, ever. Then while you are there he circles the lot in his golf cart like a hawk looking for something to complain about staring you down with a nasty look on his face. He has stopped me several times and every time he stops me he acts like he has never seen me before. It starts with where I am parked. I am not allowed to park next to my Dads RV. I was visiting my dad one day and was walking down to the pond. He stopped me and asked me what I was doing for no reason. Next time I was going over to look at my dads boat that is stored there. He came by on his golf cart and stopped me asked me what I was doing over there saying he didnt recognize me and accused me of messing with the boat. I told him its my dads boat and he said oh, you looked like someone else. He has said this multiple times to me by the way. He has called my dad and complained several times about me and my sister visiting him because we either didnt sign in (sometimes there isnt anyone in the office) or we are parked somewhere he doesnt like, but lets his family ride dirt bikes all over the property :-/ The final straw for me was when my family visited my dad for Fathers day. As usual Ron is circling the lot in his golf cart and when we walked down to the pool he drove right past me. I waved at him and said HI! He looked at me with an angry look on his face and just looked away and drove past me. No wave, no hi, no acknowledgement I was ever there. RUDE! Then as we walked into the pool he called his wife and told her she needed to collect payment from me immediately to use the pool, which by the way felt like we were being watched the entire time we were there. His wife was "working" around the pool the whole time and he circled at least a dozen times. . My dad has already talked to him and said he would pay for his entire family to use the pool today. Instead Ron made a big deal about it and said he wanted cash up front, from us. So... i had to stop, go into the office and pay. $25!!!! for my kids and sister to use the pool. After this final encounter of Ron being a rude A-hole I can say he got what he wanted. I will not be visiting any more. Good Job RON! Learn some people skills and how to get what you want without being well.... you.

ABSOLUTELY HORRIBLE!!!!! I made my reservations here a few days in advance. ..The woman owner was really nice. I stayed in contact with her every day to let her know our status. She was wonderful. ...BUT...The day we got there....I walked into the office to pay the months rent....her attitude COMPLETELY changed. ...I do have a large amount of tattoos...nothing offensive. ...but she clearly had an issue with that!!!!!!! So I get parked...Everything set up....it was nice outside so we decided to go on a walk with my 4 year old daughter. ...held hands the entire time...we werent loud....just went on a nice walk.....about 20 minutes after we get back to the camper the male owner comes BEATING on our door.....so loud...The neighbors came out to see what was going on...He cussed us up one end and down the other because our daughter "is a liability and we can not walk by the water"....really???? I try to brush it off and we go to bed... Next day we go swimming.... While at the pool. ..that crazy man pulls up and goes off again! About what...I really dont know. I couldnt understand him. Then I decided to go to the grocery store...I get back...He pulls up to my camper and cussed me out because my car was too loud on the highway. (I have a 2013 camaro).....I was out of the rv park. I absolutely obeyed the 5 mph rule in the park...but when I get out on the highway I should be allowed to at least go the speed limit! Not according to that man! So after paying my electric deposit and a months rent....we left 3 days after moving in to the awesome awesome "park on the lake" in willis. I highly do NOT recommend you go to this park if you children, tattoos and $40,000 vehicles. In my 23 years of pipeling and going hundreds of rv parks NEVER have I been met with such disrespect!!!! Very very very judgemental owners!!!!!! We all need to pray hard for these people!

BITTER AND INCREDIBLY RUDE MALE OWNER of this park almost got his teeth knocked out by my boyfriend. We drove in last night after being on the road for two days, only to be greeted with the rudest man weve had the displeasure of meeting. We made arrangements with a nice woman on the phone to come in late, as they lived on site and could help us after closing hours. We called 6 times upon arriving, got no answer, but the man came up after knocking on his trailer door. He rudely agreed to let us use the guest electric hook up, smarting off to both of us and mumbling under his breath. My boyfriend asked when they opened the next day and how early we could pay for the night and rent a space, to which he replied, "when I decide". We laughed it off, which made him angrier and began to gripe us out for coming so late, even though we had made plans with the woman owner. He and my boyfriend had words, and he threatened to call the cops. We told him wed rather camp in Wal-Mart parking lot than deal with the likes of him. We left and went down the road to Cut and Shoot RV park, and are incredibly pleased with the service and park itself. In short, unless you want to be treated like your investment is nothing but a bother and a chore, DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!
