The conditions of Twin Creeks have dropped severely. The service is also extremely lacking. Its very overpriced for what you get and its because of this, that I will never play here again...there are plenty of other quality courses in the metroplex, why waste your time with Twin Creeks? Our tee time was at 1pm on a Saturday but because of a frost delay, we were pushed back 30 minutes. This is completely understandable and not their fault. The slow, unhelpful service was, however. On a Saturday afternoon, you would think a quality golf establishment would have more than 1, somewhat efficient employee checking in people. But no. It took us over 20 minutes to check in and there were only 2 people in front of us There was also a shortage of carts. After an hour, we finally got them and were able to tee off at 2pm. The carts had terrible brakes; to the point that it seemed dangerous. The conditions were pretty terrible as well. I know its winter golf but other courses around seemed to manage just fine. Crab grass was prevalent on the tee boxes, fairways and worst of all, the greens. Even tho we were told there was water on the course, there definitely was not. There were no cart girls either, until a woman in a regular golf cart pulled up to us on the 13th hole. She said she was the cart girl yet only had a box of snacks, no drinks. We said we were not enjoying our experience here and instead of apologizing, she got an attitude with us. I would think that these complaints are to be expected when theres a lack of quality one usually gets upon paying $70 for a golfing experience. I feel like they should be apologetic in an effort to get us to return. But they werent, and we wont.

Great Course, Atrocious Customer service. Was 23-sca-dooed today by the pro shop. Noon tee time. Checked in at 11:20, pro shop guy sells me and a buddy a couple of unlimited beer / margarita tickets that were part of a tournament before us (note: we were NOT part of the tournament); we get to the 2nd tee box for our first beer. Buddy gets one; I decide to wait until the margarita tee box. Girl at 2nd tee box clearly didnt want to be there. Beer was warm. And she informed us that she was shutting down at 1 pm (remember we teed off at noon) and said the margarita tee box closes shortly thereafter. Bottom line, we paid $20 for 2 "all you can drink" beer and margarita vouchers and only got one beer out of it. So after the round I went to the pro shop and explained the situation, and the pro shop gentleman named Rick was a real piece of work, and thats putting it mildly & politely. Suffice it to say, Ive never been so rudely brushed off, leaving the pro shop completely disrespected. Nice job, Twin Creeks. Youve got some real winners working for you.

The course was in pretty good condition, the staff in the pro shop was friendly and accomodated me even though I was a little late. The grounds were in great condition except for a few fire ant mounds which I guess come with the territory. One thing I would suggest would be a notification of some sort telling golfers not from the South about Fire Ants... I moved here from California and my first encounter with fireants was not a good one. I didnt even know what a fire any mound was. I found the par 4s to be long, I like long par 4s. The par 3s were a nice challange, short enough to have a breath of fresh air. The only complaint I have is that the food service area is stuck in the 60s. The food service staff is run so poorly that I pack a lunch when I play there. I would think that the clubhouse would be run more professionally to appeal to upscale golfers and nearby soccer moms out for lunch.

We played there yesterday, September 22, 2013 and were disappointed to the extent that we probably wont play there again. Carts ran out of power and had to be replaced. No starter to force reasonable spacing so we waited on every hole. We waited 20 minutes for a cart and still waited for every shot after the next hole. The gentleman that worked in the clubhouse, really didnt like his job or the customers. The course maintenance was awful. The fairways didnt seem to have been mowed in a week. There were terrible weedy like grasses growing on the greens. The greens were not consistent speeds. There were a massive number of fire ants on the tee-boxes, greens and fairways. People were fishing around a lake in the middle of the 17th Fairway making it really unsafe to tee off. Most of the sand bunkers had water, mud or were like cement. Several water igloos were empty.

I live in Twin Creeks and am embarrassed by this place. If Arnold Palmer knew what has become of the course, hed sue to have his name removed from it. Carts are worn out to the point of being unsafe. No beverage cart, and two water stations didnt even have a water can in them. This was July 31st in 100 degree heat! The greens were playable, but the tee boxes and fairways look to me like there is no superintendent. The pro shop is a great place to go if you only need a bag of tees. Others blame the staff, but Twin Creeks issues go all the way to the top. The ownership gets the blame when every facet of the facility is this bad. Id be grumpy if I worked there as well. Save your money until the owners put a little more of theirs into this place.

I just recently player Twin Creeks after hearing about the changes from friends and after reading the article in Avid Golfer. Having played there in mid February the course was not in good condition at all but I was pleasantly surprised the greens were some of the best I had played on in recent months. Fairways were starting to green up nicely. And they now have sand in ALL the bunkers which is a vast improvement from when I played it in February. They also have all new gas powered golf carts, no more running out of juice and I even saw a bev cart girl while I was playing and the staff was very friendly and helpful. So all in all I would definitely recommend this course to all my golfing buddies now. Worth the try!!!!

wow...what can I say, another awful experience playing Twin Creeks. From the staff, the service, the conditions. What a waste of a prime location in the DFW area. I dont understand how this course is so well managed. I vow to not give this course another dollar, there are too many other courses in town that are in way better shape, and more importantly...are WAY better ran.

The cart and bar staff are great but everything else is just awful!! Course is in poor condition, especially the greens. The worst part, is they routinely allow groups larger than 4 to go out. That is just asinine and any club pro and GM that has any business sense would know that is just unacceptable. Rounds on the weekends take usually 5-5.5+ hours. Never coming back!!!!

played here a few time after change of management in 2014. A lot has changed and all for the better. improvements all around. Management is better. course is well taken care of and improved, Sand in bunkers, Greens are in good shape, Fairways are well kept. Price went down almost 40% and is a great course for the price.
