What a pleasant surprise my round at Pine Lakes Golf Course. I was looking for a quick round close to the Knoville Airport before my flight back home and found this course which is only 10 minutes from TYS. The course has no website with only minimal reviews, so I was hesitant to play here. Boy, am I glad I did! I decided to walk this course as it was a slow Wednesday morning and it only cost me $22.00. I could have rented a cart for an additional $8, but decided to walk as it was a nice day. The fairways and greens were very well kept and even though there was heavy rain the day before, the couse was mainly dry. I highly recommend this course for a quality round before heading to the airport. It lacks a lot of the scenery and elevation changes as some of the more expensive courses, but a great value!

I have been playing at Pine Lakes since I began the game (about 5 years ago). There are definitely more challenging courses but this course offers some challenges in itself. The only difference is that you get a break every now and then. Great value, although I think they should add a mobile snack bar. If you are looking for an extremely reasonable rate and a great time on the course this place is worth the drive. You will come back.

This place is a great value for a solid course. I play regularly at courses that cost more and was surprised at the quality of this golf course. The greens roll true with mostly makeable putts. Fairways are an A- although I never needed to roll it. $29 for 18 w/ cart or $25 with Student ID. A good confidence boost, but definitely some tough shots. While most decent courses cost $50-65+ I will be playing here more often.

Nice little course with few water hazards. I would like to play the course when its not experiencing severe drought conditions. Even though the fairways were hard and dry the greens were in fantastic condition. I would definitely play here again.

The course has nice views and can be enjoyable however they allow groups of five and six to play together on the weekends which can make play incredibly slow.

Pine Lakes is a well kept golf course - not overly difficult - there is a driving range at the course - very reasonable green fees
