At $8 per person, I would consider this zoo just as good as Knoxville Zoo if you are in the Clinton area. Dont travel all the way to Knoxville. Little Ponderosa Zoo has a variety of animals including several different types of monkies, llamas, camels, tigers, ostriches, a petting zoo for smaller children, snakes, scorpions, zebras, birds, among many other animals. I highly recommend going here. Along with seeing the animals you can enjoy the beautiful landscaping, feed ducks at a pond, and just enjoy the walk around the zoo. The zoo staff seems to be very friendly and will assist you with whatever questions you may have. Again, this is a fun attraction for adults and children alike, go, and enjoy yourself!!!!

Great experience went on a sunday afternoon and wasnt a lot a people its kind of out in the boonies but not to hard to find price of admission isnt to bad you can buy some food to feed the animals when you start off you see some parrots and a spider but a pleasant suprise you wouldnt expect in a "little" zoo there were llmas couple of big snakes, kangaroos, camels, even tigers also they have a pony ride for kids overall the staff was very friendly i would definitely recommend it and would go go again

This was a great visit! I am surprised this little zoo doesnt appear on most web searches for Clinton, TN attractions. Our 4-year old loved it. We got there right at 10 when they opened on a Monday and had the whole zoo to ourselves!!! The tigers there are amazing....and there were quite a few monkeys too...a lot of very neat other animals to see also! We spent a good hour walking around and feeding the animals. Great place, glad we decided to stop!!

This place is a gem! An interesting array of animals, and you get a lot closer than a zoo. We had a great time with my nephew here last summer. I dont remember what we paid, but I remember it wasnt much. The staff was really friendly, too. It is a long walk around the zoo, and there isnt a lot of shade, so I recommend going on a nice warm day, not when its 95 degrees like we did.

Terrible experience! Animals are in small cages and pens. Way too expensive for the experience. On top of it all, the teenagers who run the place stood in the exit and confronted us about riding the ponies without paying beforehand. There was no sign and no handler to tell us to wait for assistance or to pay beforehand. Very unprofessional.

Another zoo in the area was closed and recommended this zoo for rescued animals. I am so happy I found this little hole in the wall. Its about $12 for adults to get in and $5 for a "small" bucket of feed ---- the bucket was huge enough for me to feed all kinds of animals for about an hour. The kangaroos and the camels were my favorite.

This place is awesome. My family and I went there for "boo at the zoo" instead of going to the Knoxville zoo. The animals are well taken care of and the facility is clean. The owner is very nice and friendly. The prices are very reasonable. I would recommend the Little Ponderosa Zoo and Rescue to any animal loving family.

Need to update website or google and let everyone know that you are closed until March. Google says that you are currently open, when you are not. We drove 30min with a 4-year old that was very excited to come, only to arrive and learn that the zoo is closed for the next several months.

I would rather bring the kids here than to the Knoxville Zoo. It is beautiful, fun, interactive and is a very worthy cause to give to; and you get to feed the animals! Buy a big bucket-o-feed and walk around for a few hours with the kids. Dont forget your pony ride as well.

The inclosures could be a bit more, but they probably rely on a lot of donations. The lady at the front (australian?) Was very rude and she was the only employee we saw. All the animals for petting were very sweet and their environments clean

Simply wonderful experience! Everyone from the 16, 12, & 16 month old had a ball. A great day for a family outing. Definitly get the big bucket of food. You can pet every animal in the yard, but beware of the ostrich lol.

Fairly priced with with lots of opportunities for kids to interact with animals. Has a picnic area with several swings and a slide for kids. My daughter had a blast and so did my wife and I. We will be going back.

Small up close zoo. Kids had fun. Staff was friendly. Animals were easy to feed although I felt bad for them their cages seemed small. They seem well taken care of.

Never in my life have I seen deer that sound like squeaky toys. This place is great, however glare from the sun causes difficulty seeing animals in glass cages.

Very hands on experience. It is great for the price I would rather go here then to go to Knoxville Zoo. Will definitely go there in the future.

This is a great little zoo. Parking was confusing but only because there was also a field trip that day. Will go again and recommend to others!
