The front nine will rival any course, very nice. The back had some serious problems last time I played it. There were a few greens that were destroyed. I hope the greens come back as it is one of my favorite courses, and the South Nine course is pretty decent. The staff has mellowed out, but they could be more accommodating for sure. The best hamburgers and sausage biscuits ever. I like the owner, and he also owns Pebble Brook as well. I played the course again and the back nine is back. The owner everyone complained about has since passed away. He was always nice to me. I give the course a 4 and a half, very nice.

I have mixed feelings about this course. The course is nicely laid out and looks good overall. The problem I have is the rules and employees. First of all if you get a cart you better be a scratch golfer because you cannot drive in the rough, period and the marshals that stalk you will scold you. You better be in a foursome or you will be banned to the south nine which is a horrible course. The employees are rude. I have left without golfing because of their attitude more than once. The owner is no better. I have never had a good conversation with him. I will never golf there, forever.

Course is not youth friendly.. My husband, son and his 9 year old daughter, who has been going along with him for 4 years, were told children are not allowed unless they pay, have their own clubs, and are playing. They asked the worker how do they expect the game of golf to be introduced to youth but were told sorry, thats the rules. Thats fine, they can make the rules, but theyve lost two families business.

For the person who had a problem with the owner, Ive played there perhaps 4 times and only met him once.. harmless... Good course.. plenty of challenges.. usually in good shape... take a few extra balls unless you always hit em straight... Remember, with golf course management and owners, you usually get what you give... Be there tomorrow (9-16-2010) and look forward to it.

Recently played 9-holes after a long break of not coming to the course. Grounds crew was always rude and inconsiderate, but thought Id give them another chance. No issues with staff this time, but most of the greens were unplayable on the front-9.

Good course but marshals follow you hole to hole. If your cart goes 2 inches off the cart path, you will be stopped and lectured. Rudest owner and staff of any golf course
