I had read good things about this golf course, so I decided to book it for my friends bachelor party in Nashville. The course has a good layout, but it was in terrible condition. The MiniVerde greens were late to come out of dormancy due to the bad winter, so it was like putting on carpet. There were a lot of bare spots on the fairways, and some of the bunkers contained a substantial amount of rocks. In addition, Im skeptical as to whether the weather was the only factor in the courses poor condition Playing a course in bad shape is one thing. Its another to pay full price (in this case, $40) to play a course in bad shape. Apparently there were some workers in the pro shop giving people $15 off and others unwilling to give any discounts. I dont know how the full price was charged given its condition. It was not worth but maybe $20 to play. I did not personally negotiate the price because I didnt realize how bad the courses condition was at the time of payment, but other than that the folks were very friendly. The carts also have some really cool technology.

We are spoiled Michigan golfers traveling through the area to visit friends. Its hard to top the quality and price of courses in the mitten but this course has some real potential. We played in early April and the course was a little roughed up from the winter. They literally had the tarps just off the green when we played. It looked like they were doing quite a bit of repair so the greens were rough. The views and scenery are 5 star but the condition of the course knocked it down one. Cant wait to play this course later in the season and see how they pull through. Would still recommend it for anyone in the area. Great twilight specials...

this is a really fun course to play. course layout is excellent. elevated tees, wide variety of fairways & hazards. im not a big fan of blind fairways, but the course created a playable challenge for everyone. i really enjoyed playing. unfortunately run off water doesnt drain well. heads up though...once you start you wont see the club house until after the 18th hole. so plan accordingly. id definitely play this course again.

Challenging course in a scenic location. Lots of long, straight drives requiring good ball control and placement make for a good time. There are also many shots over/into a hill that make course management more important than just a good hit. Lots of subtle movement on the greens. Overall this is a difficult yet entertaining course.

This course is one of my favorites in the Nashville area. The elevation changes are awesome, and the conditions are always great! Although the employees are kinda jerks the previous reviewer, "rude" is wrong. you come on the club house again after 10, and buy some water.

Whats not to love? The price beats any other course in Nashville, and it does not lack quality. The staff does an excellent job as well. Get ready to laugh because Pat will get you with his quick jokes while you book your tee time. All the carts were in excellent shape.

Course was narrow if you dont drive it straight this course is not for you. Rough was so thick and hard to find balls. Greens had a lot of movement and were a little rough on the edges but the middle was good. Course was really wet from all the rain down by the river.

Great scenery, beautiful elevations changes and a tight, challenging course! Make sure your putter is dialed in, the new bermuda greens are silly fast! Fantastic staff and a comfortable practice area. Go play a round at Highland Rim!
