I went to see Willie Nelson here. It was the worst concert I have ever paid to see. The local crowd was drunken and rowdy to the point that we could neither hear nor see Willie/the band. The people in front of us were so drunk and obnoxious that within thirty minutes everyone else in our entire row had left. The staff did nothing--not even when the woman in front of us started stripping and spilling beer all over everyone both behind and in front of her. It was a gross experience and I would never, never, NEVER pay to see anything at this venue again. Let me reiterate: Locals are crude and staff is not trained.

We just had our family reunion banquet here this past weekend. The venue was spacious and clean and the food was good but in addition to the fee to rent the space, they charged us for every single thing we requested including tables and chairs! There was construction going on so we had to park pretty far from the building. We asked if transport was available for our elderly family members they wanted to charge us for that too. Needless to say we will never choose them again

I understand from the geographic area that its hard to get big name acts, but what about more comedy acts & not best of the 80s or 90s tours. Really do miss the hockey games. I believe that a hockey team can survive. But at the same time I believe that the civic center was built to fail. So much potential but yet seems to be so limited.

The Florence Civic Center is really cool! When things come to town Florence Civic Center is the place to be. Today was the car haulers parade starting at the Florence Civic Center and I took my grandbaby out there she had a ball taking pictures and fun things for her to do. A decent event venue - Ive been to a number of local events and sports events here - really needs to be larger to attract bigger events but good for what it is.
