This course has the opportunity to be the best in the county: With that said, mud in bunkers is unacceptable. Obvious signs that pins have not been cut recently is unacceptable. The usual 4.25 inch hole is only 3.75 inches here because of grass grow over around the lips of the cup. The tee placements werent moved in days either, obvious by the hundreds of divots. Driving from 9 to 10, you might as well take a tour of a dump ghetto. I give this course another chance every few years and it never fails to disappoint me. With some REGULAR maintenance, this could be a fabulous course. The layout is great. Lack of care flat out makes it horrible. Oh, and they charge high greens fees. This course cares about the bank they make at the bar and lounge. They moved their pro shop into the basement of the facility. You have to walk around the back of the establishment to even find it. The driving range is only slightly better than the dump in Tin Cup. Spend your money at a course that actually cares, because this one does not. I visited the pro shop after the front nine and advised the young man behind the desk that they should be embarrassed of themselves. Springwood, hire a maintenance staff, fire your superintendent and take the course where it was supposed to be. A challenge surrounded by beauty. I play a hell of a lot of golf and I will not be returning here soon. BUY SAND, CUT NEW HOLES, TEND YOUR TEEBOXES. Junk!

This used to be one of my favorite places to play in the area. Disappointed the course has really gone downhill. Saturday morning (yesterday) Greens were spotty and full of Poa annua (grass) so they no longer putted true. Every sand bunker was a strategically placed gravel quarry. Mostly rocks and clay with a little bit of sand to provide a false hope of escape. Love the layout and challenge to work the ball to hit fairways and greens, blind shots from the tees, incredible altitude changes. So much potential lost. Heck they couldnt even manage to reset the White and Gold tee markers on a few holes from a Friday outing. Apparently the staff doesnt give a crap.

For the price we paid $40 it was okay and would have gotten 3 stars from me if I didnt know that we got a reduced rate. While I did enjoy the track and the difficulty of some of the pin placements, others were just not prudent for a municipal course and for a quick round for players on that course. I have played easier pin placements at Bulle Rock. The greens were not in great shape and very rarely rolled well and the bunkers had zero sand in them and were barely ground up dirt. Breakfast options were a candy bar or crackers and we were looked at crazily when we asked about what they had for breakfast. I would not look to return anytime soon.

I hit Bogey Macaws for dinner on a Saturday night after the dinner rush. The outdoor bar area was far from empty but I still received prompt service from my waitress. My fish and chips took a good half hour to prepare, but the quality was well worth the price. If you arent going for the crab cake, expect a 10 to 15 dollar entree. I expect that Ill be back.

wont go back, grass was horrible, thought we were in a pasture. greens very bumpy. too many blind shots, no sand in the traps. has a couple good holes, forget walking. played on a sunday morning at 10:30, perfect weather and maybe 6 groups on the course. strange, maybe it was the price. $$$$$

Do not golf here until construction is over. Half the course has been disturbed resulting in 6 par 3s. The bunkers are unkempt. Plus they were charging $55 to play this slapped together course. The pro shop employee even said the course was nothing like it was. Waste of money.

The owners should decide if they want to run a golf course or be in the property development business. The place was kept in much better shape when it was in receivership. It has officially become a dog track in my opinion.

The greens are in terrible shape on several holes. They have changed several holes due to construction and other things but signage on the course is not very clear. I will not be holding here again.

Wow, this place is a disaster with the construction. $40... are you kidding me, lol. Maybe worth the $10 hot deals rate.. which is about whats its worth at this point.

I like it better than its sister club, Heritage Hills. Havent played since construction started. Bunkers need more sand.

course is pathetic, new layout is a joke and the only thing positive are the fairways.
